Great Stay

The house was great, nice yard, fire pit, dock, covered porch so even during the rain, we played cards ad board games outside and were able to grill. The house is in a very quiet, remote feeling setting, and just 5-10 minutes from shopping.

Gorgeous lakeside backyard!

This house is ideal for a comfortable and fun family vacation. The picture windows provides wonderful views of the dynamic waves of the lake. We also appreciated the comfy furniture and all the personal details creating a cozy ambiance. The location is ideal for exploring the local charming communities of Norway and Bethel. Highly recommend a visit to Maine’s Mineral & Gem museum. One can actually hold the rocks of the moon and Mars!

Great family vacation house

We were seven, aged 3 - 79 and had a wonderful time. The house has comfortable bedrooms and baths, well equipped kitchen, good linens, a great family sunroom, rainy-weather activities (table tennis in the garage), a generator and heat pump. Lake swimming and kayaking off the dock was marvelous. For our 3-year old the nearby beach is a jewel.

Great family vacation

Excellent property for a family lake vacation. We were 7 folk aged 3-79. Plenty of room for sleeping/ chilling out and for recreational activity - games indoors and out. The lake is outstanding for swimming and kayaking. Our 3-y.o. also liked the town beach, which is a jewel and about a 6 min drive. House amenities - linens, kitchen, TV, internet and so on, were all excellent. Generator kicked in when a thunderstorm took out power. Heat pump and wall a/c units managed the heat.

A wonderful, relaxing place

My family had a terrific week at this home in Norway, ME. The location is excellent, right on the lake with a small dock, a canoe/kayak ramp and a selection of canoes and kayaks. We had two evening campfires and roasted marshmallows at the firepit. We also enjoyed barbecuing and eating on the outdoor patio and playing shuffleboard. The property is quite large and very private. The small town center of Norway is nearby, with several eating establishments, gift stores and more. The house itself is nicely furnished and comfortable.
