There are some old-fashioned touches - washing lines in the bathroom - and in places there is a clear need for refurbishment, but it's a comfortable place to stay. And the swimming pool is excellent. I realise from other reviews that one must book a superior room in order to have bottled water and tea-making facilities in the room, but in my view this should be available in all rooms as standard."

The window in the street facing bedroom does not shut properly on the right hand side, it doesn’t latch. Allows the noise in, rain in too when the shutter isn’t lowered.
