"The cushion seat of the sofa in the bedroom was sunk/flat. The fabric was very old and dirty. The same was with the sofa in the common room downstairs and the cushions were very dirty and flat."

"This hotel was well located in the city but a street or two back from the main area meaning it wasn’t too busy or loud. That said, it was still very easy to walk around the city and get to public transport options. The staff were friendly and helpful finding me things to do and translating different options for me. My room was pretty big compared to what I’ve had previously on my trip but was also comfortable and clean. The history of the house was also a main point for me. It was nice to walk around and look at original photos/paintings and see historic documents was pretty cool. "

"We recently enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay at the Home Hotel Folketeateret, and it was exceptional from start to finish. We were lucky enough to book a Premium Room, which was beautifully spacious, clean, and provided a fantastic, relaxing base after exploring the city. It was delicious, varied, and a wonderful perk that provided great value after a long day of sightseeing. Buffet Breakfast: This was simply out of this world! The quality and scope of the buffet were far beyond standard hotel fare. From traditional Norwegian specialities to a vast array of fresh, high-quality options, we honestly went back again and again. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced."

"I was cycling camping through Norway but hit a patch of terrible weather and found the nearest hotel and that turned out to be the marvelous Grand. Idk but something about this place is so compelling and downright charming. There are so many marvelous details and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel in Scandinavia. I give them ten billion stars"
