"This hotel is a grand old lady in need of some TLC. The public rooms are historic and impressive, but the carpet is worn and everything looks a little tired.
The club rooms are small (think cruise ship cabin) but it is clear to see how much effort is put into amenities and service.
The breakfast buffet is impressive and very busy, but the number one attribute is its location. Right next to Hyde Park, great restaurants nearby and close to the tube.
Pretty much anything you would want to go to in this vibrant city is within three miles.
The hotel has no parking and nearby public parking is very expensive, but I suspect most guests would be using the extensive public transportation or cabs.
It is a very busy place and the staff work hard to meet the guests needs, always eager to help."
