“The Villas at Victor Hugo was a lovely place. Very convenient for our days in Avignon. The Expedia listing for the apartments is incorrect in that it lists washer and dryer for the apartments - but it seems that there is only one or two apartments that have that amenity. This was a big negative but not a reflection of the host as they have repeatedly tried to get Expedia to correct the error.”

“The listing description is mostly accurate but it left out two very important items when staying in Avignon in the July heat. First- there is no air conditioning. It was 100 degrees during our stay and the bedrooms are in the attic and the apartment is on the second floor. It was so incredibly hot in the evening, it was difficult to sleep. “You could not ask for a better location to stay in Avignon, right in the centre of everything but somehow totally peaceful. Kitchen had everything we needed, shops nearby, market also close by and also a fabulous market on a Saturday. Host was very helpful. Two suggested areas of improvement would be a bit of WD40 on the bathroom door and the bed was creaky so made quite a bit of noise when turning over (although still comfortable) Would definitely use again. ”
