“My boyfriend from Philadelphia (first time to the Midwest) and I booked this place. It was a beautiful property. The entryway was stunning. The room we stayed in was one of the corner rooms which was very spacious and had lots of windows that you could open for fresh air. The room was newly updated with a modern flare. The king size bed was very soft and cozy. The rooftop was a cool place to relax or play corn hole with a quaint downtown view. Every morning we walked to the local coffee shop.……

“We were unable to stay at the Hotel Phillips. Our reservation was for a Saturday night & the hotel is unmanned on weekends but the listing has a contact number. The keypad on our apartment did not work. We tried calling the property manager at number given numerous times. Finally we gave up & got a hotel. We received from the manager TWO HOURS later (after I’d left a message that we had to go elsewhere)—he said he was sorry we had problems getting in to the apartment but hoped we were enjoying……

“We had so much fun at this property. It is really a great place for kids. The owners were so nice and were allowing my daughter to go around and help with chores because she really enjoys animals and helping out. We all love animals so it was really nice to have a lot of friendly dogs and cats around the property as well as being able to spend time with the goats and just watching the chickens and turkeys around. Also loved the pig! Very comfortable home as well. If we ever end up in the area……
