Great Beach Getaway

Lovely house with lots of great amenities! The location was outstanding…just a short walk of several blocks to a direct beach access at the end of the street. Family members enjoyed the pool. The elevator was quite a bonus. I would highly recommend this beach house.

This house has it all. Great location (steps from the beach), fully stocked kitchen, spacious rooms, incredible deck space, pool that is perfect for kids, all your outdoor beach needs, and more. We had the most perfect vacation here and can't wait to come back. Thank you Salt & Light for the memories.

We had the best time during our stay! Very quiet street and the home was perfect and family friendly! It has everything that you need for a stay at the beach. Loved the elevator for getting our things upstairs. Great views from the huge porches. Would definitely stay again, we had a great vacation!

Awesome House!

We loved staying at Salt Light. The highlights were the porch with an ocean view and cool breezes, and the proximity to the ocean. It was a short three minute walk. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook almost every dinner at home. James, iTrip owner, was very responsive to any questions/ issues that arose during our stay. There were plenty of beach chairs, games and toys to use at the beach. There was even workout equipment! Seems the owners had thought of everything for a great stay. The house was clean and had plenty of space for all 10 of us. We would definitely rent this house again.

Salt Light was a great home. Everything you needed and more. Very clean and well maintained house. Definitely recommend this house. Would recommend a electric blower for out side use around the pool and to keep sand tracked to keep a clean area for guest to use.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Oak Island at a home managed by iTrip. The location was excellent—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and ice cream, which was a big hit with our families. The house itself was beautiful, very clean, and offered the perfect amount of space and bathrooms for everyone to feel comfortable. That said, there are a few things that could really improve the experience for future guests. The house wasn’t stocked with any dish towels, and the number of bath towels/washcloths provided was very limited, which meant we had to do laundry much more often than expected. For the cost of the rental, it would have been greatly appreciated to have more basics included—such as garbage bags, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, and toilet paper—so that guests don’t have to buy full supplies for just a week and then leave them behind. Finally, the storage area of the home could definitely use some ventilation. It had a strong musty/moldy odor that made it unpleasant to use. Overall, we loved the home and location, but with a few thoughtful additions and improvements, it could be an exceptional rental experience.
