This is probably one of the most severely disappointing stays I’ve ever had.
We had a terrible stay at this Hampton Inn. We arrived at our room which wasn’t the one we booked, then told they were sold out of the rooms we booked so they put us in this random one (2 full beds instead of a king bed), then we found out the TV doesn’t work because the screen is broken, the toilet flusher sticks so sometimes it’s just stuck on the filling cycle until we open the back of the toilet to fix the spring, and to top it off they’re having an ant infestation.
We reached out each time we found an issue to the front desk, who seemed nice enough but very much didn’t really care about the issues. Even after saying it’s the screen that’s broken on the TV he still sent a handyman up - how could he have fixed the broken screen? After the handyman wasn’t able to magically fix a broken TV screen, we were told by the front desk staff that they left a note and at checkout we’d be receiving a “severe discount” for all the inconveniences. However at checkout, we were told there was actually no manager on shift and that there’s no such note and there will be mo discount as we booked on a third party website. So basically said all that the night before to pacify us so we’d stop complaining.
