Amazing property for families with active kids
This property is very beautiful, spacious & unique, and we had an amazing stay. We were a group of 12 with 6 teens, and we had a plenty of space inside and especially outside! The property is amazing and the area beautiful. There is access to great mountain bike trails outside of Oakhurst. There were so many activities at the house (pool, ping pong, bocce ball, badminton, the river, tree swings, the fantastic big pool, games, etc) We were outside most of the time, but were very comfortable and occupied when inside too! Communication was great with owner and manager.

Awesome River house
Sooooooo much fun. Beautiful views, gentle river access, and lovely pool. Wi-Fi is understandably slow. Well supplied for cooking. Long ride to Yosemite valley, beautiful grassy yard, and a abundance of swings.

Great family trip
Had a great stay at the property. We were a group of 14 with age range from my 1 year old to mother in law of 70. Management and owners are very responsive. The house is older but everything worked well and appliances looked newer. For what we needed and wanted to pay, we were very happy with it. We did see a volleyball court in the pictures and we were excited about that because most of us play volleyball but looks like the heavy rain washed out most of it so we were not able to use it. It was not in the description of the property, just saw it in the picture and got excited about it. Enjoying the backyard was the best part.

Family fun
My family and I had a wonderful time at the property. We took walks around the river. The kids swam in the pool every day and we enjoyed the hot tub at night. We played several friendly game's of pool and my son and husband did a little gold panning. The house was in good shape and had everything we needed. We cooked dinner every night and used the BBQ. We had a wonderful time and the view from the home is beautiful. We enjoyed the sounds of the river and all the friendly birds when we had breakfast outside in the mornings. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Check in and out was easy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice property but dirty.
The dishwasher was broken and someone had put away the dishes in the cupboards with food caked on them. We paid $350 for cleaning so I assumed the house would be clean. It looked like the floors had been cleaned in the middle. There were dust piles behind and under the furniture.

Perfect family getaway!
This home and its surroundings is just amazing. Our family spent equal times at the river and the pool as well as relaxing and exploring the area (Bass Lake, Sugar Pine Railroad, and Yosemite). Can't wait to come again.

Family Friendly
Beautiful home and property! Very family friendly home, with excellent floor plan to accommodate a large group. Well stocked kitchen, lots of games and books available for guest use. Two things that should be added are a vacuum cleaner for guests to vacuum area rugs, and a rake to rake leaves off bocce ball court. Our family had a wonderful time!! We will definitely be back.

Perfect and Secluded Riverfront Cabin
An absolute beautiful riverfront cabin. The whole family and I absolutely enjoyed the quietness and especially the nature of this location. It was awesome to have the golf course nearby and local restaurants such as the Southgate brewery to enjoy good food. This house had five spacious bedrooms for all of our guest. It had Wi-Fi and cable TV for streaming a good movie at night. Lastly, the pool and Jacuzzi made this location even more magical, deafly will be returning back!

Great family getaway!
Riverbend is a great place for a family get away. We spent most of our time outside during the day and came inside to prep dinner and gather around the large dining table. Outside we had great fun in the pool. We didn’t bother with heating the pool, so it was great on the 95+ degree days! Bocce ball is always fun, especially if you play while there is still some shade on the bocce court. We brought our own croquet set, so it was a fun course on the grass in the backyard since there is a slight incline to challenge the players. The pool table saw action at night after dinner and the game room plus two of the bedrooms can be closed off with a pocket door if others in the three other rooms are sleeping. There are bat houses in the trees at the end of the house opposite the pool. Go out there at sunset and wait a few minutes and you’ll see the bats swoop out of the bat house on the nightly bug hunt. Unfortunately, the second oven had died before our visit, so we made due with the one oven. Two ovens would have been great for our pizza night, but we made due. Our pizza stones fit the oven just fine. We look forward to coming back maybe in the winter or spring. You’ll love this quiet, relaxing retreat.

Perfect for family gatherings
It was just the four of us but there were so many places on the property to hang out separately or together. Very comfortable, clean,would definitely stay here again. Ran into the caretaker at the end of our stay, nice guy. Property owners are very considerate. Even in late July there was water in the river, on the property. We spent a whole afternoon hanging out in the river feeding the fish. The pool was the perfect temperature. We loved taking naps in the hammock, chilling out in the multiple seating areas in back and swinging on the heavy duty swings. Love this place!

Yosemite and Bass Lake
The property was the perfect size for our multi- generational family stay with plenty of room inside and out. We enjoyed the pool, spa, swings, fishing, eating and just sitting and visiting outside. The air conditioning worked well and was welcome with the high heat and the need to stay inside one day because of poor air quality. There was a pool table that got good use that day. The view out back is gorgeous and the area was quiet and felt secluded. Golf was within a few minutes on a beautiful course. Shopping in Oakhurst was convenient. We also enjoyed two days in Yosemite and another two at Bass Lake. Overall, our stay was relaxing and fun.

Wonderful spot, everything you need
What a beautiful and fun place to bring the whole family. River, pool, mountains, other outdoor activities, pool and ping pong tables, and great gathering places abound @ Riverbend! Great proximity to Yosemite and other areas like Bass Lake and some of the Sequoia groves. Enjoyed every minute of it and hope to go back again.

Beautiful Property with a great location
Our family of 12 gathered at Riverbend to celebrate the 4th of July. The home was very spacious and the pool was amazing. We spent most of the time outdoors grilling and in the pool. This house truly has everything you need to disappear into nature for a few days. Communication with the host was great.

Heaven away from home !
This was our third year staying at Riverbend and it never disappoints. Our families meet there from the Bay Area and LA area and we spend all of our time swimming or adventuring at the river which is steps from the backyard. The pools waterfall is a big hit with the kids as is all the fun extras like the swings, tire swing, bocce, rafts and the general tadpole collecting getting dirty outdoor life. This house truly has everything you need to disappear into nature for a few days and we can’t thank the owners for sharing it with us more!

Beautiful property and great location
Our family of 12 gathered from all over the United States to use this home as our base to reconnect and visit Yosemite Nat. Park. The home is 30 minutes from the South entrance and 1 1/2 hours from most trails and park attractions. We cooked every meal and had our choice of a large outdoor grill, an Instantpot, stovetop, oven, toaster oven, and an air fryer/bake/dehydrater/warm combo unit. Air fryer smores are the best! The kitchen is well stocked with pans/dishes/flatware. There is a great supply of indoor fun - pool table, board games, puzzles, books and outdoor fun - ping pong, croquet, wiffle ball and bocce ball. And the pool - amazing! Lots and lots of pool toys and floats. I would recommend paying for the pool to be heated - we did and it still could have been warmer. We really appreciated the large indoor and outdoor dining tables - no need for "outcasts" at the children's table! Many choices of seating in and out of the sun around the pool. Many adventures were taken on the surrounding property as well. The washer/dryer were useful. Things that could be improved: the house was surface clean but needs a deep clean after each occupant. Debris and crumbs could be seen on the floor between the edge of rugs and the cabinets/wall; something fell on the floor and rolled under a bathroom cabinet - the floor was disgusting!; the top of the fridge where we attempted to store items was filthy; rugs looked they had never been moved, washed or cleaned; dishes and glasses all had a film so we used jet dry with every dishwasher load and by the end of the week, they were sparkling clean; pool/hot tub maintenance was done while we were there and he mentioned that because there was a chlorine shortage, both floating chlorine tubs were empty so he did a chlorine "dump", but several of us experienced skin disruptions called folliculitis, caused by an incorrect level of chlorine in pool/hot tub. Excellent communication with owner: the hot tub wasn't heating properly and he remotely changed the setting; one of the toilet seats was loose and he sent the property manger Steve to fix it. We did see a baby rattle snake in the yard - we were later told we should have informed Steve so he could remove it to ensure our safety.

Perfect for a family of all ages!
We are so grateful for the time we spent at your little Ahwahnee piece of paradise. Our children and grandchildren filled every minute of every day having fun and making memories. Wonderful location, house needs some updates
We will start with the positives- the house is in a great location- the grounds are beautiful, the scenery is impressive, and the kids LOVED having the river in the backyard. They searched for frogs daily, climbed the rocks, and spent lots of time exploring. The house is very convenient to Oakhurst (groceries, restaurants, etc) and not far at all from Bass Lake which we also enjoyed. The kids enjoyed the pool, although it was very cold, but the hot tub did heat up very quickly which was nice and made it much more enjoyable for the adults. The biggest disappointment here was that the pool is actually not fully gated, so if you are traveling with young kids, you absolutely cannot let them go outside unsupervised which was a HUGE bummer. From the pictures everything looks like the pool is full gated, and there IS a gate, but the kids can just go around it so we just couldn't let the little ones be outside without being right there with them at all times. This alone would probably prevent us from staying here again, unfortunately. As for the inside of the house, there were a few issues. The dryer was broken, and the solution was to call the maintenance guy to use the one in the barn, where he apparently lives (on the property) and we just did not feel comfortable doing that, so doing laundry was an issue. Also, there was no actual oven! The pictures show 2 full size ovens, but those were gone and there were mini ovens to use, but no pans that really fit in there, and we were cooking most of our meals there so this was a challenge when cooking for 8 people. The kitchen table is huge but felt really unstable and is need of replacing. The cooktop looks like it had been glued down and one corner was completely coming up from the counter. The dishwasher was pretty old and the top rack won't stay in when loading/unloading- overall the kitchen is in need of a major update. The kids were excited about the ping pong table, except all the paddles were broken and there were no balls, so we went and bought some balls (and left them there) but the table itself probably needs to be replaced as well. The house was not super clean (cobwebs in the hallway, dirt on top of one of the bed comforters, and the tub hadn't been cleaned or turned on recently as quite a bit of red/rusty water came out when we first turned it on. Overall, location is pretty great, but the house itself needs some work/updating. We were a bit disappointed for the price paid.

Dear Guest, It is disappointing to hear something like this, when in private communication you did not have any complaints and told us that your family had such a great time and how beautiful the property was and want to book with us again. I am not sure what changed your mind and we are hearing about these complaints for the first time. We went over every detail and help we could offer while your family was there. Unfortunately due to covid, Services are delayed everywhere. Our brand new kitchen appliances and dryer were delayed. We had made temporary arrangements with brand new countertop appliances like instapot, biggest size able top oven we could get in the market. Now we have replaced all appliances and dryer as well. Cobwebs keeps happening in the mountains, but will make sure house cleaners get the feedback to keep it in top shape. We have 3000 sq ft house and 5 acres land, and we spend lot of effort to keep it in top shape. If we were told when you were there, we would have made sure cleaners would take care of it. Nice big house
We are large group of family with 11 people and love this big house very much for Yosemite vacation. Driving time from the house to closer Yosemite Park entrance is about 1.5 hours. The house has many updated cooking appliances such as Air flyer. The kids love to swim in the big pool which is out of our expectation because we think it will be very cold in first week of April. The hot tub is a gem for adults relax after day time hiking. My teenage boys first time play with pool table andsurprisinglylove it so much and make them stay away from their phones. The check in and check out process are easy and owner is also easy to reach. Special thank you to Steve who is caretaker of the house who save us from big problem.

Beyond Our Expectations
This was by far the best VRBO place we have rented! There was something for everyone, our active family enjoyed the pool, spa, bocce ball, the huge grass yard, the pool table and the river. We ate almost every meal outside on the huge deck. There was plenty of seating inside and out. This house is set up for large groups with ample living area inside and outside for everyone to spread out. Plenty of TV's of which we did not use as we were too busy outside playing. The pool was the biggest hit with the little ones lounging between the hot tub and jumping off the waterfall. Having 3 full bathrooms was fantastic. The master bath is huge. Some reviews say the house is dated but I prefer to call it Old Tahoe Charm with vaulted ceilings and walls of windows to let the outdoors come inside. The owner had set up chairs down at the river, we panned for gold and hung out there for an afternoon while exploring the granite boulders all along the river. It is so picturesque. There is also a sand volley ball court down by the river which we did not use as the temperature was in the 100's. The adjacent golf course was an added plus as we had a golfing group go out twice. Also appreciated all the labels and instructions on the appliances and throughout the house. The owner, Giri, was very responsive to all my inquiry's. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. Next time we will do a full week there. We spent one day at Bass Lake but the house had more than enough activity to keep us busy. I highly recommend Riverbend and we will return!

Riverbend get-a-way
This was our second stay at Riverbend. Our family enjoyed a Thanksgiving holiday there 3 years ago and wanted to experience Riverbend during the summer to take advantage of all it has to offer. It's a perfect place for a for a family gathering with so much to do especially during Covid-19 times. The weather was hot, but the house stayed cool and comfortable thanks to the air conditioning. We really enjoyed the pool, the river, bocce ball, pool table, barbecue, etc. We brought all our food with us and did not need or want to go anywhere. It was relaxing for the grandparents, but with tons of things for the children to do. Some concerns that we had during our stay is that the house wasn't as clean as it should have been. The floors needed to be vacuumed, there was general dirt on the floors and even popcorn in the living room. Some of the dishes in the kitchen cabinets were not clean. (This is a problem with previous tenants not cleaning the dishes.) I spoke to the owner regarding all of this and he apologized offering to have someone come and clean right away. He said that there had been an unexpected emergency and a substitute cleaning person had come. Obviously they didn't do a good job. But because of the Covid situation, I didn't want anyone coming into the house. Steve, the on site caretaker reached out to us and offered to help in any way. I asked if there was a vacuum cleaner that I could use and he let me use his own vacuum. He also adjusted the pool temperature for us. He's a great guy and willing to help in any way. As someone else commented, the house is wonderful, but some of the furnishings and the stove top could use an update. All things considered, we had a wonderful time at Riverbend.

Gem Location
Great location to get away. The river that runs through the property creates a wonderland for the kids and adults to. Don’t forget your gold pan, we couldn’t keep our little explorers out of the river panning for gold. You know it’s a great location when your kids are choosing panning for gold or swimming in the pool over electronics. This was the perfect getaway from this crazy world we live in. Easy access to Yosemite, towns close enough to get what you need but far enough away to feel you’ve escaped into the wilderness. We’ll be back!

All about the outdoors
While a little tired in the details, this house was clean and comfortable. The riverside setting was wonderful for relaxing! Plenty of birdsong and wildlife sightings. The pool and hot tub were great fun, though the pool never *quite* got warm enough for us (despite working with the caretaker to increase the temperature). At this price, management should probably do a big clean out and restock of the poolside toybox and inside games closet. Yosemite Valley is a grueling hour and a half drive. Bass Lake is an easy 30 minutes. If you pass through Mariposa, Happy Burger was a happy surprise! If you're looking for lunch in Oakhurst, Love Cafe was perfect (even for non-vegans). Overall a wonderful trip!

Amazing home & town
Our trip was simply amazing, just what our family needed. The pool/spa, river, spacious home, cute town made our stay fabulous! There was room for more than our family of 6. Our boys (9,12, 14) enjoyed fishing, playing pool, board games, BBQing, golfing. Bocce and most of all the pool. We walked to the golf course for 2 rounds and found the amazing hidden hike - thanks for the tip! The pool and spa was the highlight, felt like a private resort just for us. The instructions and many labels were very helpful. We can't not wait to go back. Worth the price!!

Spectacular!
Riverbend is a first class home in every way. Its' size and the plan of the house accommodates a large group of mixed ages. This allows everyone to enjoy their special space in the way they enjoy the most. Three bedrooms, a family room, complete with a pool table, are on one end of the house separated from the other end by a huge kitchen and dining area. It was perfect for our group with an age range of 82 to 15. The house is in an incredible setting facing the river with huge boulders everywhere. The boulders are pocked with ancient Indian grinding rocks. It is such a beautiful area, it invites just sitting on the patio and absorbing the scene. The kids loved climbing the rocks and checking out the river for fish. There is so much land to explore around the house without getting in the car with a golf course and a driving range (which the whole family enjoyed) within walking distance. Last, but not least, Riverbend is in a perfect location with Yosemite Valley and the Park a short drive away. There also are many small historic, gold towns to explore and convenient shopping just 5 miles down the road. We have rented VBRO's for over 30 years across the country and our Christmas stay at Riverbend was perfect in every way, a number 1. One other comment, is that we cannot remember a rental that has had a wonderful person who lived on site and knew every answer to every question we could ever ask about the house or the area. Thank you Steve!

Amazing Property!
This property was everything my family and I wanted. From the pool and hot tub, the river cove, the golf course next door, and of course, the proximity to Yosemite, everything was just perfect! The property manager was great to work with as well. The house is a little dated, and they could definitely use a better cleaning service, but my family has voted this property their favorite vacation rental so far! We will definitely be back! What fun!
The house and lot are everything a family could want. We loved the pool and the river access. It was great for an extended family with small children. The yard had options for running the kids - wiffle ball, mini soccer, foot races... It helps that the climate of cool mornings, sunny (hot) days and cool evenings is lovely. Large kitchen and dining area well supplied and works well. We plan to return soon.

Great vacation spot especially good for families with young ones
We went to this property with our 30-something kids and their 6 kids, ages from 2 1/2 to 11. This was the perfect spot for all of us. Really nice house with well-equipped kitchen. Nice outdoor deck. And the pool is perfect for the little ones and for us bigger ones to cool off in when its as hot as it gets there. It's also great that they have a bocce ball court, a pool table, a ping pong table, multiple tv's, and just plenty to do to just enjoy yourself. The owners and the caretaker are all very nice and helpful!

The grounds were awesome. The view and pool were amazing. Steve, the property manager was so great. He came over and adjusted the pool temperate a few times so that it was perfect. He’s awesome. The owner was very easy to get a hold of if we needed anything. Drive to Yosemite and Bass Lake are super close just like they said. Only complaint is that there is no pantry that can be used so the food had to stay on the kitchen counter the whole week and some of it went bad due to the heat. Great week.

Fabulous in every way!
The house is stunning. Exactly as the pictures show. The home is very large with plenty of rooms and areas outside to sit and enjoy. This home is meant for a large group. We had 7 and it could easily have accommodated many more. The sound of the river which goes nearly through the yard of the property is very soothing. The pool was the best feature of the property. Whirlpool nice and warm. Pool very clean. We spent much time there and at night be sure to look up at the stars while floating in the pool. It will be a night of a million stars. Also if you are studying the weather understand this house is NOT in Yosemite so the weather where the home is located is Ahwahnee and it is very hot there, desert like, in July. However when you get to Yosemite, it is cooler. One thing I HIGHLY recommend is hiring a tour guide for at least 2 days of touring through Yosemite. One thing we didn’t realize is how far Yosemite National Park is from almost anywhere you will stay. From this house it is at least an hour and a half. The roads are steep and the driving is nearly at edge of a cliff. Let the tour guide do the driving and take you to the major attractions of the Park. You will see far more that way. We used Yosemite Family Adventures (209/985-1799 - Dave is owner) and Adam was our guide. Worth every penny and the tour was the highlight of the trip. Also do not do the tours on back to back days. These are long days so give yourself a day between and a day after you arrive. Wish I had known that. Wear long pants and good walking/ hiking shoes. A must. Bring a sturdy water bottle. What is also great is that there is a caretaker that lives just next to the house, Steve. Anything you ask of the owners they let Steve know. It was a trip of a lifetime and we will remember it forever. Many thanks to the homeowners for maintaining such a pristine property.

Great family time at Riverbend
Riverbend provided our large family with the perfect house for our time together. Although the house itself is showing “wear and tear”, the pool, the river and the outside area is wonderful.

Best vacation EVER!!!
We just stayed at the Riverbend home in Ahwahnee in June. We are a group of 6 friends who have vacationed together for the past several years. Giri’s Riverbend home was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We had the BEST time there! The location was perfect for going to Yosemite - not very far- and yet the home was wonderfully private. We felt like we were staying in a mountain paradise! The view, the pool, the hot tub, and the outdoor living/dining area were perfect! Steve, the caretaker who lives on the property, was so very helpful and accommodating as well! The house was so charming and so clean. The kitchen was also fully equipped to make large meals, so we really appreciated that too. We had such an amazing time at the Riverbend home that we plan to return- hopefully sooner than later! I highly recommend this home if you’re planning a trip to Yosemite. It was the BEST. Thank you Giri, for letting us enjoy your home!

Disappointed
So disappointed on the cleanliness of the house. Wasn’t cleaned well when we got there. Wet towels in washer, dirty floors with crumbs and shredded papers, broken toilet paper holder and dirty pool. The most discussing thing was inside one of the beds was a diaper which the cleaners made up with it in there, kitchen inside drawers needed to be wiped out and some kind of rodent poop dropping in one shelf. I was at this house 7 years ago and it was in beautiful shape. House needs to be painted, clean all inside kitchen cabinets out and have more towels in bathroom to shower. 10 people with two bath towels was hard. Had to wash a lot. Only nice thing there was their new washer and dryer. Grass needs to be mowed and bushes are growing into pool. I think owner needs to inspect this house because their workers are doing a terrible job.

Hi Sue, We did a thorough review about your feedback. When we spoke to you after your check in whole house is clean except laundry room has some dirt and towels and one of the bed had a diaper. Diaper is a mystery as no one found it unless you disposed it yourself. We offered to do one more cleaning and replace bed set, and take care of the complaints immediately. You even refused for cleaners to come back and take care. We sent the care taker and cleaners right away, but it looks like you only wanted to complain and not take help. Dirt in the kids bedroom was due to previous guest breaking the bunk bed, which our care taker took care immediately, but some saw dust must have been left accidentally. We are not sure why you had complaints and refuse to take our services which were provided immediately. We work very hard to keep our guests feel at home and consider every feedback very seriously. We have been providing excellent service to all our guests and all of our guests feel highly relaxed and enjoy the beautiful property. Just around the river bend...
Just returned from a visit to Riverbend with my best friends family and our five kids. This place was a dream. The perfect combination of luxury and nature to enjoy. We only left the house for one outing since our kids are still young but never ran out of fun things to do. The kids went directly to the river beach each morning to catch tadpoles and make mud pies and we bounced in and out of the pool until they crashed for bedtime. The house had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation, was clean and comfortable and Giri was a great host with easy communication. Already planning our return visit for next summer!

Lovely property and plan on returning!
I cannot say enough good things about this home. The area is beautiful and the owner and caretaker are great to work with. There were some issues but they didn't detract from our stay. The pool and spa are wonderful, especially at night! So close to south entrance of Yosemite that makes it easy for 1/2 day trips. I plan on returning again soon! 5 Stars! Thank you Giri!

Amazing Home!
We stayed here for a few days with 3 families, kids ranging from 10-18 years old and all of us agreed that this place is a gem! The home itself is massive and can comfortably fit a large group and is spread out so everyone has their own privacy. But the common area is so welcoming and really lends to bonding with each other through grilling, sharing meals, playing pool, ping pong, games and more! The pool is beautiful with its waterfall and warm jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was really warm which we loved and we could soak our bodies after a full days adventure! The 5 acres of land called our backyard is priceless. We spent hours everyday in the river catching tadpoles, hiking, looking for "gold" and swimming. It was breathtaking and we enjoyed every morning watching the wildlife (quails, wild turkey etc) while we drank our coffees! It's a 5 minute drive into Oakhurst which is a busy and busting place with any restaurant and amenities that Los Angeles would have. We went out to Bass Lake (15-20 min) for some fishing, boating and water sports! What a great day! Giri, the owner, is so responsive and helpful as well. I had so many questions since it was our first time and he gave us so many recommendations which we followed to a tee. He is a gracious host and we are so grateful for our time and wonderful memories here. We can't wait to come back again. Thank you!!

This was our third time staying at Riverbend and it remains our favorite house to stay at! Giri offered some new ideas since Yosemite was closed and we had so much fun. The new Bocce Court was a huge plus!!

Family Fun!
The five bedroom home is beautiful! Lots of room for an extended family to gather together for meals, fun in the pool, and river exploration. The five bedrooms allow for privacy, and quiet time, for children or adults. We all enjoyed the new bocce ball court. Thank you so much for another great vacation!

Great property for a vacation in Yosemite!
We stayed at Riverbend September 19th - 23rd and had a great time. A lot of room for everyone in our group. We had a lot of fun with the ping pong table and the pool/hot tub was an added treat after a long day fishing in the park. Beautiful!
Beautifully planned and designed home and grounds! We had our two sons' families including five grandchildren five years old to two years old. There was so much room to spread out. There were large spaces to be all together, but enough separate spaces to find a spot to get away and read. The bunk bed room was a huge hit! The grandchildren loved being together. The absolute best, beside the gorgeous grounds, was that it was fenced and gated to keep the little ones safe, and within sight so that the parents could relax as well.

Spacious with something for everyone
The home is well cared for. Photos don't really do it justice. Short walk to creek, giant tadpoles, refreshing river swimming, beautiful pool.... house was very well laid out with ample space for everyone.
