Exactly as advertised, great for groups!

We stayed here with five couples and had a great weekend! Everyone had their own room and there was so much space, we never felt crammed. The house was exactly as advertised, no issues, and the hosts were extremely communicative and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot on the lake!

We loved the house and we had a great time.

The house is in a perfect location. We loved being able to sunbathe on the dock and was so convenient when we rented a boat. There was 8 of us staying and never felt crowded.

Great stay

We had a great family vacation at this property, completed with a boat rental from bills marine just two doors down. House was very clean with only a few notable exceptions. Driveway/parking was ample for two SUVs and a super duty truck. Would love to stay there again.

Beautiful home/perfect location

Fun Family Getaway

Hima was wonderful and replied quickly with any questions. The home is spacious with a lot of room for everyone. We enjoyed Swallow Falls State Park and the Halloween Party at the Honi Honi. Would stay again!

Great time on the lake

Enjoyed our time on Deep Creek Lake very much. We had a party of 13 and we all slept comfortably. The home is well stocked and clean. We enjoyed nights on he deck or at the fire pit in the yard. The hot tub was loved by all.

Very Nice!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and we were definitely comfortable with six adults and three kids. The morning sunrises were beautiful over the lake. The property management was excellent. The only minor issue is the road traffic. It can get a bit loud but it’s not unbearable. You also need to be careful if you have a pet or kids when walking in the front of the house.

On the lake with lots of bedrooms

Overall it was a great stay. Directly on the lake and had lots of bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Only things I would change is that it was on a very busy road, we had three cars and parking was tight, great room and kitchen was a bit smaller than I expected, but fine for 9 of us, and a few items needed some updating, but others great.

Love this house!

We loved Hygee Memories! It was exceptionally clean, well stocked, everything was labeled. The views were just beautiful! I know it's along a main road, but when you are inside the house it's super quiet. The hosts were super responsive when we had questions and couldn't be kinder. We would definitely stay here again!!

A Fall Getaway

Great central location right off busy Garrett Highway. Nice amenities, could even suit 3 distinct groups with sleeping for 14. Walk out lower level directly to the lake, steps away. Nice hot tub, dock and kayaks. Fun game table and some arcade games if children come along. Enjoyable evening by the fire pit with s'mores! Easy to find, easy to book, responsive owners.

Perfect Family Getaway

This house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 4 children (ages 5,6,7,8). There was ample space to be together, and, ample space to be alone! The arcade games and Infinity game table were huge hits for everyone. The kids loved wading in the lake and the adults loved using the 2 kayaks. The kitchen is well appointed. The s’more ingredients were a welcome surprise. And the hot tub was enjoyed by all. It was a memorable week and we look forward to coming back.

The Perfect Spot for a family gathering!!

This property was perfect for a family gathering we had for my dads 70th birthday. The house was clean and wonderfully decorated. All the furniture from the beds to the chairs in the dining room were so comfortable and there was plenty of towels, and linen we didn’t have to worry about running out! The rooms had such amazing views of the lake and even tho it was cold outside we still enjoyed fresh air by the fire pit and just having these amazing views it was so nice just to sit and stare at the gorgeous views! Thanks so much for making this weekend so memorable!

Spring Break

Our family of 10 had a great time on the lake. The house is comfortable to host a large group. Multiple King beds is a big plus. The lake views are stunning. Parking can be a bit tricky if you have multiple cars but after a few times pulling in and out we figured it out. We are looking forward to visiting again, hopefully in warmer months to take full advantage of the lake activities. Hima was amazing at answering all of our questions throughout our stay. I highly recommend Hygge Memories!!!

Wonderful Views

Very well-kept property with wonderful views! Great amenities inside and out. View from the hot tub is amazing. Kayaks and life jackets were a very nice addition. You can easily put them in the water right from the back yard. Nice touches inside with the gaming table, foosball, and more! We played plenty of Pac Man. Kitchen has everything you need with quality cookware, spices, coffee and a nice snack basket. You can hear some road noise, but the house and amenities are very nice. All the parks are within 15 minutes and restaurants are 5 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!

End of summer

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is laid out nicely with a fully appointed kitchen, different levels for sleeping/living with the lower level great for movie night and boat watching. The three balconies provided beautiful views and being lakefront was amazing for boating, swimming, and kayaking! It is centrally located to shops and restaurants. There is quite a bit of traffic noise but it is easily overlooked by the setting and not noticeable in the back of the house. The house has a modern and mostly updated appeal. There were a few general maintenance issues but handled promptly by the host; communication was excellent! We really enjoyed our stay!

Great Lakefront House!

Our family of 12 with ages from 5 to 75 years old had a great time. The house is even closer to the water than it looks like in the photos. Having 3 master bedrooms was a bonus besides the other two bedrooms. The kids loved the game room. The hot tub was a hit too with young and old alike. The house is located on a wide part of the lake and the view is beautiful. We rented a pontoon boat for a few days and docked it at the house. We used the two kayaks every day, fished from the dock, enjoyed S’mores on a bonfire, and spent every evening relaxing on the very nice deck. This is a great place for a family or friends’ getaway.

Amazing

Lovely property, right on the lake. We'll decorated and we'll maintained. Every room has beds big enough for adult couples to comfortably share. Foosball in the loft area, board games on the main level, and an interactive game table in the basement were all very entertaining. The hot tub worked well. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but the chairs and the pit itself looked well maintained, too. The host responded to communications quickly and politely. I highly recommend this location. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Great lakeside location with room for the whole family

The host of this property was very prompt and responsive to our requests for extra bed linens and minor repair details. The views from the decks and main bedrooms are beautiful and amazing with proximity to the lake. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with paper products and cleaning supplies. Our family enjoyed the variety of games available on the electronic game table. The dock and kayaks were used daily. The fire pit (wood provided ) was appreciated. The hot tub was a welcome warm up after the cool lake water. Parking is limited to 4 vehicles and is a little tricky to negotiate from the street.

2023 Family get away

We had a wonderful time at Deep Creek Lake. This home is situated right in the middle of it. Very nice home with lots of room. Noticed a couple of items of concern and contacted Hima who was immediately responsive and addressed our concerns quickly. Being we were multi generational visiting, I would recommend adding safety grab bars to the tubs. Even consider changing two of them out to step in/walk in showers. If you’re looking for a relaxing get away, we highly recommend staying at Hima’s property. You’ll be taken care of!

Unforgettable amazing experience

My family including my two children and their spouses and our two "few months old" grand daughters were looking forward to spending a week in December 2023, at Hygge Memories on the Lake. The location of the property was beautiful - just as we wished, right on the lake with beautiful views from the spacious living room and the bedrooms. The electronic games table in the basement provided entertainment for all of us. The property is a few minutes from the market and almost everything was accessible easily. The hosts responded promptly to our requests and were very courteous in responding. Highly recommended. I look forward to spending more vacations at this property in future. Absolutely stellar!
