The cleaning staff is awesome here. The guy on the room service team ensured we had everything needed. I told him it was cold during the evenings in passing, and he dropped off a comforter in minutes. Awesome.. The breakfast bar was great. Hot fresh eggs daily. Only issue is to bring in fresher and more varieties of fruits.

The breakfast includes eggs, sausages or bacon, and potatoes cooked very tastily. It will satisfy your hunger before you go out for your day of sightseeing, business ventures, or family business/visiting. I had room 319 which is a huge room. It had a lovely view of the 3 crosses church across the street and I enjoyed watching the California sun set to the west of the 3 large crosses. It has a King bed, which wasn't the most comfortable, but I was able to sleep becasue the room is quiet. There is also a pull out love seat in the room. It's so spacious, they could have added more furniture. There is a gas station next door for purchasing snacks, lottery tickets, and a myriad of beverages. They also have the California It's It ice cream cookie, which I resisted. I was in Castro Valley for a family memorial service. The location of the hotel was 8-15 mins away from where I needed to be whether it was the church, my cousin's house, Trader Joe's, TJMaxx/Ross stores, and a Safeway. Go ahead and book it. You won't regret it.

I was very impressed by how clean and well maintained the property was. The room was spotless, modern and beautiful. The hotel building and entrance aren’t huge, giving it a more intimate feel when you walk in the front doors, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was delicious. They had hot eggs, sausage and bacon, and potatoes each morning, as well as oatmeal, various cereals and pastries. The 24/7 coffee bar in the lobby was my favorite part. I needed that during my stay. Lastly the location of the hotel is excellent. It is right next to the freeways, making my drive over to the arena super easy for a concert I was going to - like, seriously easy. And there were so many cute restaurants right on the same street as the hotel. Lots and lots of options. I highly recommend going to Nick the Greek. Excellent greek food. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I will absolutely be staying here every single time I come to the Oakland area. Oh, also, the staff were all very polite and friendly. Fantastic hotel!!
