「We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️」

「Great stay, great facilities and beautiful location 」

「Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again.」

「The place is amazing! Nice little spot right next to the Mangorei track. Beautiful views of the mountain on the drive to the house and views of the harbour inside the hut. Lovely house with everything inside you」

「The studio is gorgeous and the location is absolutely beautiful (just be prepared for the public to wander past the room during open hours).But note you must supply all of your toiletries- including soap for the shower and bring your own milk. As it's a long way out of town, it 」
