"Staff was very nice and the location/view was great. Only critique is the property is very tired looking and the lift was broken, which I can understand but it looked like it had been for some time."

"No parking to speak of. The lift, or elevator was down with a sign saying it was out of commission due to "preventive maintenance." This is B.S., preventive maintenence includes cleaning and/or lubricating parts and usually takes less than an hour. The elevator had been down for several weeks. Everything about this hotel was old and worn-out. Will not stay there again."

"Pier rooms offer affordable accommodation in Oban. The room was small but spotless and had everything I needed. There was an issue not getting my email with entry instructions but with a phone call this was quickly resolved. Done the job for a couple of nights. Only staff interaction was on the phone but the people who clean and make up the rooms do a very good job. "
