Overall pleased with use of website and apartment. Apartment was adequately equipped with kitchen pots, pans, utensils, dishware, glasses though listing did not specifically state what it contained. Upon arrival went to use dishwasher and it was stuck in a mode that would not allow it to be turned on. Called rental agency and it was addressed in a few hours while we were grabbing dinner. Furniture was as expected from pictures. Apartment appeared to have been freshly painted with bright cheery colors and switch operated gas fireplace is charming. Parking underneath was 2 spots and adequate though area is dark at night w/ no light. Apartment generally clean but could have been cleaner. Contract cleaning service is not totally effective. Dried urine on master toilet. Ran a swifter several times over tiled floors to clean. Floor tile grout dark brown in color from residual dirt while original grout very light tan as seen along edges by walls. Website picture is also misleading. The picture is of the front building while this rental is the exact same construction but building is actually behind building that is along the street. So the rental's balcony looks at the back of the building seen in the website picture. Rental Agency effective though does not like people stopping in office. Stopped by after our drive around noon and was immediately advised by rental agency in a short abrupt manner that was intended to end the conversation that they will text if apartment is ready early ( I train people to perform call center customer service so have an expectation of proper customer service). So, went off for a while. At 2:00ish I did not get a text so stopped by ahead of 3 PM check-in. Advised rental agency we had not been texted but stopped by encase. Rental agency stated they had texted me, which they had not and asked what number they had. I advised I have the same number you texted me on the day before arrival. As I was talking, another agent sent me a text that went off confirming they had not sent a text that apartment was ready as they advised me they had. A simple acknowledgment of that oversight would have been appreciated. I understand they rent hundreds/thousands of units but this is my experience so they need to be on their game with a full court customer service attitude so each and every experience is perfect. I travel about 9 weeks a year on business and have a customer service expectation that was not met.
