Best house at Ocean Isle Beach

We are a return visitor to the Yellow Submarine and can say hands down this is the best house we have stayed at, at Ocean Isle Beach. The house is very well stocked and always clean, and the owners are phenomenal to work with. My only hesitation in writing this review is I don't want the best kept secret to get out about how great this house and owner are!

Has all the amenities that we prefer when on vacation. The beach location is great since never really crowded in that area and the partially covered pool is a definite plus for the children.

This is the greatest house!

This is our 2nd year renting, and we would, never consider going anywhere else! It’s stocked with everything you need, and with the open floor plan, it accommodates large group for the dining room/living room area. It an awesome house!

The house was very nice, I thought with an elevator and some of the other amenities it would have been more handicap accessible, one person in our party was in a wheelchair. Overall the house and location was great

Fantastic all the way around

This property is more than the pictures show. The rooms are large enough to move around, and the beds are not cramped together. The house was very clean and the location is fantastic. We loved every minute of our stay and would love to come back again!

OIB Delight

I have vacationed at OIB for over 20 years and the Yellow Sub was by far the best stocked house I have rented. Dishes, cookware, cleaning items, toilet paper, paper towels, beach/pool gear— it had it all. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space when they needed it and areas where the whole gang could gather together comfortably. I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

This is a beautiful house right on the beach. We had a small family reunion. Two large dining tables provided plenty of room for eating. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Easy access. Thank you!

Wonderful vacation!

We loved the house and all the nice amenities! It's well equipped and clean with everything you could need. Loved that each bedroom had it's own bath. The pool and decks were so great and we used them each day. It's just a short walk to the beach so very convenient. We'll definitely stay here again. Ken and Betty were very responsive and easy to work with. Thanks for a fabulous girls trip!

This house was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice . The owners were amazing to work with . I had my wedding here and its a wonderful place to have a wedding . Loved everything about it . I highly recommend for any family event! Would stay here again for sure . And it is equipped with everything you need !

Absolutely perfect

This was our 2nd stay at the Yellow Sub. It is a great location with all the amenities you can desire. Our group of 7 women enjoy all the outdoor areas from the beach front to the delightful pool. Plenty of room for us to enjoy a puzzle and games on one table and still have the other for our meals. We are already planning our next mini vacation getaway!! Ken and Betty are wonderful to work with. Can’t express in words how much we love it here!!! ❤️

Girls Weekend

My friends and I have an annual beach trip and the Yellow Sub was by far the best home we've stayed in the 10+ years we have been doing this. We had a few rainy days so we spent time by the pool under cover. Amazing space in the luxury kitchen and living area. The views were fantastic and we can't wait to come back next year! This house has everything!

Very clean!!! Beds are super comfortable! Pool area was fantastic! Large open floor plan. Close to the pier and activities and restaurants! Ice machine was a blessing! Elevator was a knee saver! We will be back! Absolutely loved it!!!

Great For 3rd Year In A Row

We are four families with a total of 17 people. This was our third Memorial Day weekend in a row renting the Yellow Submarine. It has never failed to deliver a great time. The owners are spectacular and the house is not to be undersold. We have already booked for next year.

THE BEST BEACH VACATION EVER!

We have vacationed with my husbands family all over the Carolinas and this house set up was BY FAR the best we have ever had. The pictures don't do it justice at all. Everything was clean, well maintained, this house had EVERYTHING you needed. The location was perfect. steps from the beach and the pool was right under the house which was ideal. We had 7 adults and 4 toddlers and just had the best time with PLENTY of space. Thank you again and we hope to book with you next summer!

Great House and Great Hosts

This is our 11th year at OIB, but first at the Yellow Submarine. There are 8 adults and 9 teenagers in our group and the house worked really well albeit with an air mattress. The kitchen, dining and family room areas are capable of handling our large group really well. The kitchen is fully stocked. The beach area is large and not crowded compared to other areas of OIB. The hosts were great to work with and very accomodative. Overall, we highly recommend the Yellow Submarine and will be back next year!

Wonderful week at the Yellow Sub house

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this house and the location! The views from all the decks on the back are wonderful. You can't ask for anything better then being beach front! Plus, this home is located right between two public beach access points, which makes the spot on the beach in front of the house pretty empty. At times, we felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves! Owners were great. We had one minor issue with the elevator (user error) and they sent someone out within the hour! I hope we get the chance to stay at the Yellow Sub house again someday soon!

A weekend on Ocean Isle

First on behalf of my self and the High Point Community Theater Board of Directors a huge thank you to Ken and Betty and the yellow sub OIB The house is superb and so well appointed, organized plus very central to all things OIB . Ken and Betty are so accommodating and helpful with meeting our needs The kitchen is beyond well stocked the living room is great The dining room is so spacious The deck s and pool area are perfect for enjoying the sun or the shade We all got a kick out of the themed rooms with the little trivia about the song they are inspired by Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer Thank you again Ken and Betty
