Family Getaway

We stayed three nights at this great little ocean getaway. The location was convenient for access to local grocery as well as being in walking distance to the ocean. All amenities were provided for, gas fireplace was a plus for the cold nights and the beds very comfortable. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Pickleball Getaway

My friends and I rented the home the weekend of the Day of the Dink tournament at the Lighthouse Resort. The home was well stocked and very comfortable. We all had a wonderful stay.

Great house for our family of 7 ranging from 11 to 80 including first floor bedroom and bath with walk in shower. Air mattress provided for loft for extra sleeping. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Short walk to beach. Well managed.

We had wind, rain, sun, a little bit of everything with a very comfortable, cozy home. We enjoyed our beach walks with our pups, meeting and entertaining our beach friends (in our beach home). Tree top views, the ocean and wonderful daylight throughout the house. We would highly recommend MyCovia's restaurant in Ocean Park and the Waterline Pub in Ilwaco for a fantastic dining experience. Truly a couple of hidden gems. We would definitely return and highly recommend to our non-beach friends.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was a nice home. When we arrived at 4pm we had to wait for a maintenance guy to fix a window that wouldn't shut. They were unable to fix it so the window was open the whole time we stayed. There was a ton of dog poop in the yard, the garbage didn't lock as was advertised and critters scattered it all over the yard. We had to clean up the previous renters garbage. Gross! 1/4 of a roll of paper towels so we had to purchase more.

A huge gas fireplace keeps the main living area and loft warm and cozy. We appreciated the finished garage when returning from the beach with wet and sandy clothes and the large sink in the utility room to clean beach-going items before going into the living area. The house is perfect for 7-8 people. We have stayed in several houses managed by Bloomer Estates and this is my favorite. As always Bloomer exceeds our expectations when it comes to property management.
