"The Surf Shack is such a peaceful oasis right on the lagoon. So many beautiful egrets, herons, storks and alligators and deer to watch with our morning coffee. We loved having "Shortie" to drive around and explore the beautiful island. Went to Nature Center, the marina and the crabbing dock. Beds were comfy, bathrooms clean, kitchen was well stocked . Charcoal grill was great! Kathy was easy to reach and answered all our questions. Not many restaurants on Fripp, but we ate off island at Foolish Frog and Johnsons Creek Tavern-Yummy food and good service at both places. Visited the Penn Center which was extremely interesting. Having the free pass into Hunting Island State Park was helpful. The beach there was so relaxing with very few people, and good shelling. Hope to come back again. Thanks Kathy!"

"Condo was as advertised. Well furnished, comfortable, easily accessible (building has an elevator if needed), clean, and great ocean watching from the balcony.If there is a drawback, there is no beach access at the location. Not an issue for us particularly, but just a heads up. We would book it again."
