The property at noon palace Jamaica is not unique, definitely older. I was excited about my stay but disappointed when we checked in. Rooms are not the best. Our family room was two rooms interconnected not one large area where we could hang together. A lot of stains on countertops which we were told need special technique to be removed. Bathroom sinks look cracked and sealed together sloppily. One of our rooms AC was not working properly and staff could not figure out was wrong with it. Hallways have carpet which need updating. The beach area is nice but not enough umbrellas. The waterpark is definitely not a park or a large area. It’s a small area with blowup basketball hoop and one slide. The restaurants are nice but have had better tasting food. I was surprised the the seafood restaurant did not have a wide variety- no lobster or conch or crab .. just small shrimp, barely any scallops and some fish. For an All inclusive resort that was a disappointment! The entertainment was great . The Micheal Jackson show and Motown shows were awesome! I don’t see myself going back to Moon palace Jamaica. Few years ago I did stay at moon palace in Cancun which had so much more and well maintained and huge property. We did make the best of our stay and did have fun but we will not be returning.

We visited this property 2 years ago in Feb. it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is older than most moon palaces but we felt the staff and service really won us over. This trip was the utter and complete opposite of what we experienced 2 years ago— from check in to check out it lacked finesse, professionalism and the property/ food was lacking immensely. There were minimal activities for kids and the “ activity” pool had zero games/ fitness. We had one person during the 6 days ask us for a drink order by the pool. The staff could not accommodate the smallest of tasks or requests. Housekeeping lacked in providing services ( makeup and turndown service daily). It was so disappointing, especially from a Moon Palace Resort. We were told that they have new management — Well, the new management needs to be better managed or better off, replaced. I will never spend my hard earned money and time at this resort again.

Jamaican language lesson..games .. aqua aerobic..

I loved how friendly and courteous the staff was especially at check in. I love the variety of offerings for food and entertainment and I love the resort credits. One complaint was our bags were misplaced when they were to be delivered to our room and no one could tell us where they were delivered. When we checked in we got one room on time and the other room after 5:30 pm! I had to go in the line twice to get an answer from the agents at the front desk and finally went to public relations to get through. When checking out we took a late check out for that same room 2 pm but were locked out when we tried to get in at 1:15 pm. Very disappointed because we had a 7 month old baby staying in this 2nd room. Super disorganized at the front desk.

Moon palace says its 5 star but I'd give it 4 stars. You have to make proper upgrades if you want to call yourself 5 star. My main concerns were the conditions of the resort and how they handled the food stations. The tiles were pealing off the pool, plenty of rust on the water slide and it was only working one of the four days we were there, needs painting and the hall to the rooms needs updating. Has an old motel feel with carpet and old paint. The water sports were mostly down (not working pedal bikes) In regards to food, they were always "out of something". They have to learn how to run a buffet in an all inclusive so things are always replenished before they run out. At every restaurant and every station they were out of something I wanted. It was annoying. Overall, okay stay but I wouldn't go back. I need 5 stars for this price in Jamaica. Oh and beware, they are hawks to sell timeshares or something. I was told I couldn't sit in certain areas or on certain chairs because they were reserved for the timeshares..even though they were mostly empty my entire stay! They also need better entertainment. They rarely had music playing which I was shocked as I'm in Jamaica! They had a wedding almost every day so I was told they couldn't play the music at certain times. But when they did play music, the DJ played from a station with ads...it was crazy to hear ads from a DJ. Like pay for the ad-free app! The entertainment was just ok. Food good!

My 8 night experience has mixed reviews. The food and entertainment experience is top quality but the housekeeping and aggressive timeshare salesclerk has made this top quality resort into a lackluster vacation.
