"Our stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Redmond, Oregon was pleasant until our departure. After returning to our room from a morning pool soak, we encountered an access issue when we found ourselves unable to enter using our guest key. We promptly sought assistance from the hotel staff and were provided with a new key, which also failed to grant entry. We notified staff again, and a front desk associate arrived with another key and deadbolt keys, but access was still unsuccessful. The staff member informed us that she did not have the appropriate keys to open the door and needed to contact maintenance. At that time, we were on the second floor, outside our room, in the hallway, wearing wet swimsuits and a towel. The associate explained that a staff member had lost the keys and that management was aware but had not yet replaced the keys and that management was the only personnel with spare keys. Since it was the weekend, management was unavailable, but maintenance was en route to assist us. I expressed concern about the lack of available keys and the potential risk in an emergency situation where access could be critical. The associate apologized and continued to assist us. When the maintenance technician arrived, he used specialized equipment to unlock the door, discovering that a wire had become disconnected, which caused the issue. This process delayed our checkout and departure by approximately one hour. Throughout the experience, staff appeared to be unconcerned. I"

"The property was way more spread out to be able to easily walk to each activity. Restaurant wasn’t open for very long so very long line when it was open. The room we were given was very basic and the headboards looked like they should have been replaced due to damage. Will not stay there again. Was expected a LOT nicer accommodation"

"I stayed in a Cascade bungalow and it was beautiful - matched the pictures perfectly. Overall, the place felt like it could be better. The delivered breakfast to the room needs more protein and the guest services staff were average. You get a golf cart with the bungalow room and at check in, no one told us you can't take it across the trestle bridge. And the cart automatically shuts down about ¼ way across the bridge. We figured out to reverse back but it's small things like that that deterred from the overall experience. The adult only pool closed at 6 p.m.? This pool should be open till at least 8 or 9 p.m."

"Checked in at 12:30 am and received our key card. We walked to the room which was in a different annex of the hotel, we unlocked the outer door, walked down the hallway which was on the first floor, approached our door and noticed it was open a crack, and the tv was blaring. We knocked on the door, no answer. Then opened the door to find there were pillows on the floor, the bed was obviously slept in and the tv was blaring. We immediately left, returned to the front desk and asked for a refund, which we were denied since we booked through a third party sight, Hotels.com The clerk at the front desk was confused about how there could be someone in that room, but yet unbothered enough to not go check it out. Kinda felt like a scam. Like possibly she knew she overbooked it.... I was traveling with my 2 young daughters so we filed a claim and left."
