This was my favorite art installation on Ogijima, an island in the Seto Inland Sea. It was part of the art festival held every three years, Setouchi Triennale in 2013. The gallery Memory Bottle was installed by Mayumi Kuri. Almost 1,000 bottles are on display, all with pictures or small trinkets inside. In her interview she says that she wanted to gather memories of the local people in Ogijima so she set up a collection box, asking people to put their memories in it. The bottles were lit up with lights and had everything from pictures to train tickets. The gallery is still open even though the next Setouchi Triennale is not until 2016. If you want to see the art during the islands off season, now is the time to go :) * 40min ferry ride from Takamatsu Port. It is about a 1.5hr flight from Tokyo to Takamatsu. 服務人員熱心協助,房間舒適,早餐不錯,餐廳走通路有點曲折 JR岡山站在對面,附近購物方便,只是房間對面正在施工,施丌時間內,有些吵雜
