“We had a marvelous time at this wonderful location. We had guests from Cincinnati, OH; Clemson, SC; and Copenhagen, Denmark. We facility was as advertised and we had clear skies to view we saw totality of the solar eclipse. It was a life changing experience. To top it off the Lady Gamecocks won the National Championship.”

“Overall the house was perfect size for us. We were taking a girls weekend. The only issue is no lock on the back door and the front door lock doesn’t always engage. So we were not a fan of that at all.”

“This house served as an ideal venue for a three-night family get together with five adults and four children (ages 1 to 6). It was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable with views of the lake. A playroom with toys provided fun for the kids, and the in-house treasure hunt delighted both kids and adults. It is a pleasant walk to nearby Harbor Point State Park. The host, Katie, was incredibly prompt in responding to all my questions and offered helpful local suggestions, including for Bryson……

“It was quite a walk to the actual lake. Yes it is water front but not off the Lake. Also the gas grill did not work at all. But it was still an ok visit,”

This house provided a great location for our parents to come together and welcome our son home for a short weekend trip. We could all hang out together at meal times yet have our own areas to spread out. This property is large and has beautiful views of the lake and canal, a large porch area with access from several places around the property. “The house has some nice features, but overall, there are several things that need attention in terms of repairs and upgrades. The downstairs is spacious, and updated somewhat recently, but the upstairs is rather dated and run down. The lighting in the main bathroom is horrible. There were numerous scratches and gashes in the walls, and not all the interior doors worked. We also had an issue with the kitchen sink which wasn’t addressed promptly. “We stayed here with our 2 teens, choosing this location as it is near my father who lives in a retirement community close by. The home was perfect! Extremely clean and modern, with new linens and furniture. Free coffee and lemonade were really appreciated. Great communication and easy (late night) check-in. Will stay here again when we are back in the area!”
