    A stylishly renovated 60's bach, enjoy a comfortable stay with the peace of mind that linen is included in your nightly rate. Kohi Point has you well looked after with all the modern amenities you could need, including Wi-Fi, Smart TV and coffee machine. Kohi Point retains its original charm from golden NZ summers of old, with absolutely jaw-dropping views from prime beachfront spot, and a large grassy lawn.

    Wake up with a dip in the sparkling waters, and rinse off under Kohi Point's outdoor shower. After breakfast, wander around the bay to secluded Otarawairere Bay, the hidden jewel of the Whakatane ohope area.

    Kohi Point has boat parking on site for long days out on the water, and keen explorers will love the many beach and clifftop walking tracks - the Kohi Point Scenic Track is a must!

    You'll fall in love with the endless sunshine and white sands that has seen Ōhope Beach voted NZ’s Most Loved Beach.

Absolutely loved our stay at Kohi Point. The house was modern, clean, comfortable and spacious for our family of five. The view was amazing to wake up to each day. The close proximity to the beach was an absolute treat and we appreciated the quiet location. Definitely recommend.

Beachfront getaway

Perfect house for a friend group get together. Lovely quiet location. Beachfront, beach walks and lovely outdoor space for bbq and relaxing. Great layout inside. Would come again.

Fantastic Location - Wonderful Bach

The bach was perfect. A location right on the beach, just amazing. The standard of accommodation was outstanding, fully equiped kitchen, great beds, everything you could need and more. Wonderfully clean and thoughtfully decorated. Comfort everywhere - and that view! My family enjoyed our stay very much, highly recommended.

We LOVED it here…the house is perfectly located across a quiet private road to the beach. This end of the beach is sheltered from the wind and the waves roll in softly. Great for kids. It is very clean, tidy, comfortable and well appointed. There is nothing that was missing. We will definitely be back.

Beach side paradise

Couldn't have asked for more with this property, it literally has everything, there's even an outdoor shower for washing off the sand. It's right on the beach yet super quiet, great for swimming or watching surfers. We didn't want to leave! I would absolutely stay here again and again. The hosts were easy to get in touch with and accommodated our arrival time, really great!

Fun ocean swims and hill walks. Eating on the ocean deck. Falling asleep with waves and awakening with bird song.
