“We only stayed one night but really enjoyed it. The owner was very knowledgeable on the history of the house and the surrounding area. We especially liked the story of Arthur Manby. A hike to the hot springs is a must. Ruby, the owner’s dog, is an absolute delight- she was our tour guide to the hot springs.”

“Great house. I stayed with my boyfriend and one small dog. The pet fee was very reasonable and I really appreciate that. My little dog had diabetes and I do not want to leave her difficult schedule with anyone. So this was a perfect spot. Really loved catching the sun rise and sunset.”

“This house was beautiful and had gorgeous scenery from the property. It felt private, but at the same time downtown and the ski mountain were both easily accessible. The house was plenty spacious and very comfortable. We loved the traditional New Mexico style and details throughout the home. The only reasons I am giving the property 4 stars is because there was no extra paper towels available and only one extra roll of toilet paper, and neither was enough for a house sleeping 8 people. “I rented this place because it was a two-bedroom earthship. It did not disappoint. The bedrooms are spacious and this living space is A+. Amazing how all of the systems work so well being off the grid. I would recommend to anyone who is curious about earthship living. The hosts were very informative and helpful. We had zero issues!”

“Our family of six loved staying at this house! It was only a 15 minute drive to Sipapu ski resort, and the house had everything we needed for our stay. The little ones loved having their own bedroom (off the master bath and small, but perfect for them) and the older kids enjoyed the upper loft room and hangout area. The master bedroom was cozy and the jacuzzi and heated floor in the bathroom was awesome! The owners allowed us to check in early and were quick to respond to any questions we had.……

“We had a lovely time. It was our second time staying here. The first week we showed my nephew what we love about Taos, the next 3 weeks we worked remotely. The house is perfectly situated for views and wildlife (birds, hawks, an owl, a coyote were all seen). Highly recommend.”
