“Our host, Stephanie, was simply amazing. The home is 100% as pictured, on VRBO. The space inside and out was awesome, especially the screened porch with tons of comfortable seating, bar, grill, and fridge. We spent the majority of our time, out there. The roll down shades are great when the sun is starting to go down and there’s fans out there too. The kids loved the sand area by the dock. This home/host thought of every little thing from sand toys, to a kitchen stocked with spices, coffee, dish……

“When you need a quiet and peaceful getaway, this little cottage can give you a shelter from life’s chaos. Spotlessly clean, a view of a private lake teaming with wildlife. Peace and quiet from the overwhelming noise of our growing dense population. The owners are a sweet couple who will invite you to a fire to watch a sunset with them. We only stayed two nights but that was all we needed to catch our breath and reset. The little barnyard full of chickens, turkeys and geese was a special treat.……

“Very rustic looking on outside but beautifully decorated and clean inside. Double size bed took a little getting used to and kitchen table was small. Very nice walk-in shower.. Hosts were very helpful and provided some nice extras. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out over the water at many different birds and some fishermen.”

“We needed a place where we could have our beloved dog while we attended a funeral nearby. This place is literally tucked away in a naturally beautiful setting of lush greenery, trees, and solitude. Super clean, quiet, comfy and has all the basics we needed for a short stay of two nights.”

“Absolutely beautiful home and setting. Peaceful and secluded. The lake at sunrise and the horses and cows on the property were icing on the cake. We were sorry to only be able to stay 2 nights for this trip. We will be back for a longer stay!”

“House was very clean. Some shampoo… some soap and toothpaste supplied. Kitchen supplies…condiments , clothes detergent, toilet paper… you will need to buy. For any home in Villages… it would be good to better understand the golf cart paths… give more instruction. We used the maps app on our phone and put in for 🚲 since carts and bike paths are shared in The Villages. It took a a day or two to figure that out… not all roads are golf cart friendly. Mark was great about switching out the bikes……

“We had a wonderful time, the home beautiful, clean & very well equipped with everything you would need or want, right down to shampoo, conditioner & body wash in both bathrooms. We had a great time exploring all different areas on the golf cart which I’m sure was brand new. Lee & Mathis were super at getting back to us right away with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend renting this house. Thank you again Lee & Mathis for a wonderful holiday Tannis & Tom May 2024”
