rung me at 12pm through to 2am in the morning and didnt answer or return my calls organised a late checkout which was rushed before scheduled time and turned off water to get us out early worst experience weve had

To be fair piwa, you had extra guests arrive without informing me who stayed the second night. I was under the impression that you asked for a late check out so you could have time at the tangi before you returned to pack up and collect your things. Other carloads of your friends arrived and it looked like you had planned to spend the rest of the day entertaining which wasnt what we agreed to. I didnt charge for the extra day. Check out is 10am. Im sorry you had an unpleasant experience. Maybe next time chose a whole house so that you will be more comfortable.

Wonderful stay
My friend from Germany said it all when she saw the view from our front deck, wow! Great host, loverly property and the views are spectacular. We felt very welcome and at home. Heard the kiwi's and moreporks at night. Russell offers a great experience, a little of the New Zealand we all like to remember.

A lovely Stay
A lovely stay with my husband and two fur babies. Lovely central spot to the ferry and surrounding bays. Comfortable bed and lovely electric blankets made it very cozy. Stunning views and beautiful gardens. Thanks again

Relaxing Sea View Apartment
A quiet, comfortable, relaxing apartment with a great view of the sea framed by greenery. Would happily stay here again. Paula was a friendly, knowledgeable hostess who made us feel very welcome.

Great landlord, friendly and helpful. Location superb close to ferry terminal. Place clean and well appointed house. The views are amazing the and the place is a piece of heaven.

Excellent property. Very peaceful and tranquil. Private. Apartment unit is well stocked with all kitchen and day to day living essentials. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean and tidy. Amazing views. Lovely host. Secure carpark. Well located and close to car ferry, Russell, Paihia. Would highly recommend.

Self-contained gem.
Paula's house and apartment are comfy and well supplied with all your essentials. The location is stunning...we enjoyed the amazing garden and access to the little cove below for a swim. Breakfast on Paula's terrace was delicious ....and those views!! The only small remark I have is that the hot tub (though switched on) was only half-full and the water was very dirty with a lot of grit. Otherwise 1st class!

The hot tub is not advertised on the web site and is out of action at present hence it being only half full of water and gritty largely due to the water shortages in the north. There is very little demand at this time of year so it is not advertised as available, Paula

We found the property so convenient! Straight off the ferry from Paihia and only a mins drive into Russell! The Flat has everything we needed and was very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

Very pleasant stay. Will come back every time I go up North. Very tidy place with great view.
Years of work went into the garden and the walkway going down to the beach that can be appriciated. Take a short walk through the bush walkways to the beach for a sundowner
