"Booked to stay here for an authentic Ryokan Onsen experience on our Japan holiday. This was our first time at both a ryokan and an Onsen so we don’t have an awful lot to compare it to on those aspects. However, the positives of the hotel were that the staff were very friendly and happy to help. They spoke a small amount of English and were happy to try to assist when needed. "We stayed at this ryokan for 3 nights and we loved it there! It is family driven and has such a lovely and local feeling. Our room was big, authentic and had a really nice onsen. We received the best breakfast every morning, it was the best we ever had. We also had dinner there 1 night, and it was such an experience. Everything tasted amazing and we loved that the ingredients was local and in season. We also got help for activities. "

"Absolutely wonderful experience! We arrived late and were unable to contact the ryokan to let them know. We were feeling down because we thought we had missed the traditional dinner. But when we arrived, the ladies of the inn quickly got us checked in and had the kitchen prepare dinner right before it closed. And the traditional Japanese dinner was amazing! I cannot say how much I appreciate the thoughtful service. "
