"Hotel staff including front desk, dining room, and housekeeping were wonderful! Spa products in room was not appealing in smell. Beef stronganoff was the worst ever eaten. Made with elbow macaroni, runny gravy and chewey meat. Breakfast buffet was not much better with bacon swimming in grease in chafing dish, biscuits barely cooked and fruit from a can."

"This place is a real treasure.Like an old-timey pirate treasure, a bit difficult to find, even with printed directions and GPS, but worth it for three days and nights in August 2026.It sits high up on a mountainside, surrounded by trees, with a stream flowing audibly nearby giving a relaxing feel. Sitting on the deck, we twice saw deer running by. Fortunately, nothing appeared to be chasing them lol.From the outside, it resembles a Scandinavian or Russian log house. Inside, a thoroughly modern home-away-from-home.Our hosts, Nancy and Rick, were great! Upon arrival, we found that we had forgotten to bring milk for coffee and cereal. They literally went the extra mile (maybe more) to get us some so we did not have to have our coffee black or our granola dry.Exactly as advertised, maybe better."

"Excellent property to stay at as a base to go out and discover Montana. Beautiful property, very clean and excellent host. We so enjoyed the welcoming farm animals, especially the dogs and the goat every evening when we came in from exploring. Apartment was well furnished, beds and pillows were comfortable. I would give it 5stars!"
