Bellavista Country Estate is wonderful for special events, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays etc with private chefs, professional caterers and full event planning available. We'll work with you to design your "perfect memories".

Outdoor Activities Year-Round!
Surrounded by rolling fields, manicured lawns, forest, pastures and miles of hiking trails, you don't really need to leave the property. But if you do decide to go "off-campus", you'll be amazed at how many attractions and destinations are located nearby!
Visit the beautiful 180 acre public land conservancy with its 35 acre pond and beautiful views of the Catskills, only 1 minute drive from the estate. The scenic pond is perfect for fishing or kayaking.
We're also within walking distance to the only indoor tennis facility in the area with three courts -- two hard and one soft Har-Tru.

BBQ and picnic on the brick inlaid patios next to the in-ground L shaped pool, surrounded by beautiful perennial gardens. Relax in the shade of the screened in porch. Hike or ride on the miles of Hunt Club trails, winding through the estate's private 60 acres.

Several fine golf courses, or drop your canoe in many lakes, ponds and rivers all just minutes away. There are five (5) nearby ski resorts which offer year round activities, including skiing, snow tubing, zip lines, rock climbing walls, water slides, miniature golf and more!

Vacation with friends

The house was very clean and well stocked. There were so many fun things to do - swimming pool, ping pong, darts, air hockey, gym, pinball, basketball hoop, foosball, etc. it was a great house for 4 families. The owner was very communicative and responded quickly to questions about the neighborhood, it was also very well located. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

Amazing Weekend Getaway

We had an incredible stay at this property! The house was just as described—clean, spacious, and extremely well kept. It easily accommodated our group of 11 adults without ever feeling crowded. Every room was thoughtfully prepared, and all the amenities were in great condition.What really made our stay exceptional was the host. Communication was prompt, clear, and genuinely welcoming from the very beginning. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and helped us arrange for a private chef for Saturday night. Was a very comfortable and memorable stay. Laurie even brought us a basketball after discovering one on site was deflated - just excellent service. Highly recommend!

Good family time

This large home has many comfortable bedrooms, some very large suites. The kitchen is very well stocked. Our family had a wonderful stay. The pool was great, and a center of our enjoyment. Kids also enjoyed the game room.

Wonderful + Relaxing Stay

This property is beautiful and relaxing and had no shortage of amenities on-site and nearby to keep us entertained all weekend. The pool was wonderful to have, and the house is spacious, beautiful and well-maintained. Communication with the owners was excellent and they provided excellent recommendations for activities in surrounding areas as well.

Great place.

Very, very nice. Had three generations there and everyone enjoyed it. Lots of room, both indoors and out. Had a wonderful time and are hoping to come back in warmer months when the pool is open. Would definitely recommend this place.

Laurie was great, she took care of our requests and even got us floaties for the pool for our kids. The home is beautiful surrounded by green, and we also spotted some deer on the property!

We really enjoyed this property. There was more than enough room for our 4 grandchildren and 8 adults. The pool was the biggest hit with everyone. The property itself was just great. I referred to it as "our hundred acre woods" if you know your Winnie the Pooh!

Great time had by all! The pool is excellent, as is the barn - lots of fun things to do. (Some beds were flip out couches, so be aware of that.) Beautiful grounds and attentive owner. Would recommend.

Great weekend away with extended family

Laurie's property was absolutely perfect for our large group of 6 families, including 11 little kids. The playroom upstairs and downstairs are great, as is the outdoor playground, barn and pool. The bedroom layout is a little quirky but easy to manage. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked and easy to cook in. Laurie is very easy and quick to communicate with and helped to answer any questions we had about our trip. Would highly recommend for large groups!

Fantastic spot for a group outing

We had a wonderful visit to Bellavista Country Estate. The host Laurie was very communicative throughout the process and coordinated an incredible local caterer for our entire stay. The check-in process was very smooth and the home was in great condition. The location is scenic and private and the property is stocked with all the amenities you could ask for. We would definitely return for another visit. Highly recommended!

Huge entertaining house

We had a large group of 5 families. The house was spacious and comfortable. Kids loved the playroom in basement with air hockey and the huge attic. Plenty of room for our big group and 5 bathrooms were a big plus. Great location. Would come back in winter for skiing and summer to enjoy the pool and the outdoors.

Family Stay in Old Chatham

We stayed in the house with a family of 14, 9 adults and 5 children aged 12 to 16. The house is unique, and we all got lost in it at first, but we soon adjusted. The outdoor area around the pool was a wonderful gathering place. We also enjoyed meals at the large dining room table. It was a lovely experience.

Amazing property in idyllic setting!

We had a fantastic time at Bellavista! The house is phenomenal, really there's something for everyone. We were with a large group of teenagers celebrating an 18th birthday, and they couldn't believe their luck with the pool, game room, barn and enormous grounds. The house was beautifully furnished and Laurie was unbelievably responsive and kind. I cannot imagine a better spot anywhere in the Berkshires - it's truly a magical setting.

Lovely Home & Great for a Group

We loved our stay over Memorial Day weekend. We were three families and fit well in the home with 6 adults, 8 teens and 1 child. Kids loved the pool (it's on the cool side with no heater). The landscaping on the property is so gorgeous. The home itself is very comfortable with many places to spend time together - our favorite is the screened in porch. The two master suites is neat with each having two bedroom spaces per suite. It would be great with a family who wants to have young children close by at night. Good hiking nearby. Great access to the Berkshires.

Weekend Escape

The Bellavista was a great place to stay. My girlfriend and three college buddies and there wives had a fantastic time. The accommodations were fabulous. The home is lovely, quite and private. Laurie was a fabulous host and was there to show us the property right when we arrived. All of us had our own privacy and the property is a very comfortable place to hang out and relax. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a beautiful and relaxing retreat with lots of privacy and lots to do.
