Charming Modern 1BR Country Cottage Surrounded by Nature Close to Town.

"My husband and I enjoyed an incredibly relaxing weekend during our stay at the cottage. The property is a beautiful 40 acres that is peaceful and serene. Our host, Brent, who lives on-site, was welcoming and friendly, but also provided us space and was prompt in his responses to questions we had via the app. The cottage was lovely. It is comfortable and wonderfully decorated with a variety of artwork. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, and the shower was spacious with instantaneous hot water. The place came stocked with all the amenities you could ask for, and because our stay was short, we did not have time to enjoy the bull grill or the fire pit (Brent provides charcoal and firewood free of charge). My husband and I spent our evening on the back porch watching the birds, listening to the frogs, and enjoying the landscape. Even the coffee provided was delicious. We would definitely stay again and for longer next time."

"First thing we noticed getting into the room was the two mouse traps one behind the dresser and one behind the headboard of the bed. The next morning found that the door to the bathroom would not close all the way. Then I went to breakfast the eggs were powdered and runny at best. the biscuit was so dry I could not eat it. the sausage gravy looked more like pepper gray that having any sausage in it. it was so dried out that it would not pour off the latte. it plopped. After about 3 days I asked to have the room made up they simply put towels on the vanity and took to old towels out. in 11 days the beds never got changed and only when asked to have the room serviced did we get towels left on the vanity. once i had to go ask for wash cloths because they didn't leave any. twice during the stay the staff had a party in the laundry room across the hall. until 3:00am. I had a friend staying in another room, on one of the staff party night one off the owners family(they also worked there opened the door to her room a 3:00am in the morning. Needless to say I will not be revisiting this facility."
