Comfortable cabin

We were 2 adults with a dog, the cabin was perfect for our 3 days stay ! The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds comfortable, the 5 minute walk to the beach perfect for us. Neighborhood very quiet. And the fenced yard for the dog just what we needed !

Cozy & convenient

Compact, but with everything we needed! Lovely sitting area in the 3 season front porch. Quiet neighborhood but close to beach & downtown. Highly recommend the new Asian House restaurant/shop just a few minutes walk away—food & bubble tea were delicious!

The house is cute. The space is well used. Bathroom and bedrooms are dated and have an unfinished feel. The linens are THE WORST. The stay would have been fine if the towels and sheets weren’t so rough and cheap. The kitchen was nice and well stocked (except no corkscrew).

Loved it!

The kitchen and dining room areas were very spacious and made it easy to cook, make drinks and play cards with 7 adults, a baby and a large dog! We had dishes and pots to make all we needed. The grill was all ready to go, but we ran out of time to use it. We even had access to a brand new washer/dryer in the basement with laundry soap for a quick load. The home was very clean, warm and cozy. The 3 couches and beds were very comfy. We spent our downtime reading and chatting on the sun porch. During the day, the sun made it toasty warm (we visited in April). at night we put on the decorative Christmas lights and throw blankets for a relaxing wind down before bed. We loved our walks to the beach. Our large senior dog was relaxed with his bed in the living room where he could keep an eye on everyone. The added bonus for him was the small fenced in backyard. He was able to sun himself on the deck and take his time on potty breaks. We absolutely loved this little place and highly recommend it. It felt like being at home! We will absolutely be back!

Small old cottage away from the ocean

I had a good time despite that I was expecting a better place. The cottage is a few blocks from the ocean by car but in a good neighborhood. I was disappointed not to have a closet to hang up my clothes or some furniture where to put my luggage. I had to leave them on the floor. One of the rooms had an empty opening which could potentially be a closet with no door and a rail to hang up my clothes. Also, the entrance to the room was uneven which could cause an accident. I was not happy about the basement not having a lock. I think the place needs some more TLC before being rented again. On top of that, we were a family of four who stayed for four days and we were given only 2 rolls of toilet paper. I had to buy my own. And, the bathtub did not even have a rubber mat so I spent my first day shopping for things for the cottage. Next time I will stay in a hotel.

Very clean, functional space in a great location

This house was great for our family of four. The check in process was very easy and the house was very clean. The front porch was great as a second living area so the kids could play in one room and adults could read or talk in the other. Our only concern would be the front porch had nails that stick out of the wall and an exposed outlet. It wasn’t that troublesome because our kids are old enough to stay away from them, but if you have any children under 4, I would think twice before renting or using this area with them. Also, the bathroom had no functioning light. There was a note left on the whiteboard letting us know when we arrived. A battery source of light (flashlight, lantern) would have been nice to have. We had to leave the door open or use the bathroom in the dark at night. The location is great! Short walk to all the boardwalk activities and far enough away that it was quiet and relaxing. Overall, a great stay.

Adorable Cottage close to beach with fenced yard for you dog

Absolutely adorable quaint little cottage, and highly recommend. Very clean, and had everything we needed for a short stay for my dog and I. The fenced in yard is huge bonus and we both enjoyed the enclosed front sunroom each morning having coffee while she watched anyone who walked by. Location is perfect, being so close to the beach and we met some very friendly neighbors. Very happy with our stay and will return.
