The grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers. The hotel was quiet, but there is a lot of road noise due to the proximity of the highway. The room was clean, but there were bad stains in the seat of one of the chairs and the side of the box spring.

The staff was very helpful. We needed a change of room and they accomodated us as we checked in. We were able to park right in front of our door. There was a nice selection of breakfast foods. The room was very neat and clean. If I travel to Old Saybrook Ct again, I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel based on reviews and price, my wife and I were both quite impressed with the lodging. It was a great location for us and a very comfortable room. The king bed was very comfortable. Loved the shower, plenty of hot water and a good stream! The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. It is just off the highway but not loud enough to be a problem. We skipped the continental breakfast, not much there and wanted to try the restaurants in the area anyway. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Traffic very loud. Couldn’t plug in coffee pot. Creamer packets were hard as a rock. Garbage smell outside. No continental breakfast though were told beforehand that if enough guest there they’d put it out. Guests were there but no offer. I was charged a few dollars more when arrived than Expedia said on confirmation. Stay elsewhere

Very clean and serviceable hotel room. Nothing fancy but not embarrassing either considering the community nearby is pretty upscale. Very close to highway; we slept well and did not notice excessive noise but you can hear it. Would stay again.
