“Quiet location. Well maintained. Parking was easy and plenty. Convenient with restaurant next door.”

“The Microtel provided fine accommodations for our stay; however, they seemed short-staffed for the number of guests staying at the hotel. While we were there, they had an electrical issue, so there was only power in the bathrooms on the day we checked out, and they were not able to fix it before we left. The front desk person was also responsible for managing the very basic breakfast area, and there was one cleaning staff member for each floor. The hotel room was not a comfortable space to spend……

“I hadn't stayed at this particular property for several years, so was shocked at the condition of the facility. The carpets were stained and filthy, the elevator floor was laminate wood that separated, exposing a large gap at the doorway, where someone had tried to fill the gap with calkiing. The spa was closed for repairs, which didn't really matter to me, but its more indicative of the poor condition of the facility. At check in, the person behind the desk was on her tablet and couldn't……

“Nice, quiet facility. Reasonably close to restaurants and activities. Standard breakfast—not bad, but nothing special. Didn’t notice until our last day the sticker on the bathroom mirror stating housekeeping would only be done upon request. Hmm. I’m not high-maintenance, but clean towels is an expectation.”

“We liked the breakfasts and breakfast staff! First room we were placed in smelled of cigarette smoke. Requested a new room and was told sorry that’s all we’ve got. Then we started looking for another hotel and a new room magically appeared. The carpeting look old/ dated. Rooms look old and dated. Police came to our room at 6am and we were told to evacuate. Someone had shot someone else next door to our room. Police were wonderful. We asked front desk for a later check out due to getting woken up……

“It was advertised having hair dryer and continental breakfast. Neither was there. I asked about this, they stopped a while ago was the response. There was a place for a hair dryer, but no dryer in the spot. No garbage can in the room. The staff found me a hair dryer and gave me trash can liners. Staff was friendly. Place is just rundown and in need of some serious TLC.”
