“Freezing temperatures and a ton of snow made for a winter wonderland. Had a phenomenon 5 days with family by reading books by the fireplace. Three thumbs up!”

“It was perfect for us. Hope to be back soon.”

“Thank you. What an experience!”

“Perfection.”

“A major factor in my lower rating was encountering a mouse wandering around the kitchen at night. I immediately informed the host, whose response was, "How did that get there?" and that they would "inform the team." Unfortunately, I received no further follow-up regarding the issue. The next communication was the automated checkout message the following day. That said, the host was kind, and the instructions for the stay were clear and easy to understand. One checkout requirement I didn't……

“Everything was very clean and there was tons of space and the host was very communicative and friendly!!”

“We've stayed at this property many times before and always thought it was great. It is now under new ownership and has been elevated to EXCELLENT. Many improvements both cosmetically and structurally. New amenities added. Host was always responsive with questions and concerns. Property was spotless.”

“When we arrived at the house, we unpacked and within a few minutes, we smelled something that smelled like sewer gas in the bathroom. The owners came over and accused us of pouring something down the drain to get out of paying them. We could not stay in the house it smelled so bad and they would not refund our money. VRBO took their side! This was a horrific experience. I hope they get the sewer smell figured out. I just wanted to visit my daughter and this turned into a nightmare. I understand……

“The house was fantastic! Clean, well equipped with plenty of things for 10 people (both kitchen amenities and the outdoor equipment). Host was wonderful so communicative could not have asked for a better stay”

“This is such an amazing property! It's definitely a place to disconnect from our very busy lives. Porter is such a wonderful host. Highly recommend!”
