“In room 205 at Forest Haus, there is no curtain over the balcony door window. Because of this it got very bright in the room as soon as the sun came up. There were also lady bugs all over the room. They didn’t really bother us but also didn’t expect that. ”

“This is in a wonderful area of the Catskills with a creek streaming in the back if you wish to visit it. I've stayed a few times and I've seen many people take their dogs to Black Bear. They love the treed property for walks. It's close to farm stands or antiquing in the various towns along route 23.”

“Loved our stay here. Very cozy and relaxing, very cute rooms in the main lodge. Staff was great and accommodating. Perfect for a weekend trip any time of year, but we especially enjoyed sitting by the fire in the lodge watching the snow fall! ”
