"Loved the fireplace and the decor of the room. I travelled solo and felt safe coming and going."

"Perfect spot on the coast in a small town to just decompress. The Lighthouse greeted my sole stay with business like grace and helpful checking-in along with "let me see what I can do" for the perfect room with a view. Room was clean and well appointed with amenities for my 3 night stay. The pool and spa were perfect for my needs. The breakfast was a variety of delicious foods, though lacking in fresh fruit choices. But the server got a huge compliment from me when I confronted him about his amazing singing voice coming from the kitchen.....he even gave me a little serenade .....blush. The beach is right there and access was an easy stroll to get to the shoreline. All the staff were friendly and helpful, where needed. I felt completely safe during my stay. Now, mother nature had her own negatives with the weather a day or two, at times, but that is the PNW....gotta go with the flow. I will be booking this hotel, again, when travel takes me to Ocean Shores, once more."

"The potholes were deep and large, the brokendown RV on blocks was a prominent feature of the parking lot. The floor of the room was sticky. The top cover of the bed was stained (I hope permanently) and our room was graced with a direct beam of the parking lot light that was as bright as the sun, and we had no clothes pins to firmly close the drapes."

"My fam and I travel and stay at Ocean Shores often. We have our fav choise of Hotels, Polynesian was 1 of those choises. We always got in early before 4p check in, if rm is ready they always gave us keys. Last several times getting there before 4p they told us 4p checkin. I've seen customers get keys after coming in after us or heard desk calling to let them know rm is ready. I told my sister and her comment was if you book through Hotels, or Expidedia etc they will treat you second class vs if you book directly with the Hotel you get better service. The room gets a fire log we did not have one, my sister went and asked for one and the person at the desk said you did not get one because each rm comes with one, my sister Said we did nor get one the Person comment I guess I'll have to trust you. This is the 2nd time. The pool is always very cold. The room itself needs a lot of work, updated. We requested a "ocean view" we seen ships on the horizon. I will not allow my grand-son play let alone sit on carpet. Furniture badly worn out and dirty carpeting."
