"Booking this stay was easy, the listing said they needed 72 hrs pre notice and to contact them. We only had about 40 hrs before we needed the room. We were unable to contact the host by expedia or phone, however the room was ready as booked.. Checkin was a little confusing as we were unsure where to go, but eventually found it was the main residence. After waiting at the desk for apprix 10 minutes for the stafff to complete their rounds, it was 8:30pm, we were able to check in easily. I would definitely do this again next year!"

"Do not expect a luxury or a fancy tv set but in the room and in the kitchen you find everything you need for a one night stop. In our opinion this hot el has perfect location for a stay before /and Manotulin Islands after visiting Manitulin . You will have only double bbed narrow but comfortable."

"It's not a fancy motel -- and the exterior is a bit run down. But it is clean and safe, comfortable and relatively quiet. I like being able to park at the door, and the wifi signal is strong. Best of all, the owner is extremely pleasant and helpful. Recommended for anyone who likes a basic motel that has everything you need."

"The cottage and bunkie are clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. When we arrived the windows were open letting in a fresh breeze, gentle music was playing in the background, the fire pit was set up with fresh logs, and the host was nearby to answer any questions we might have. When I reached out once during our stay, I received an immediate response.We enjoyed going out in the kayaks, fishing off the dock, cooling off in the water, bbq meals on the back deck, and evenings around the campfire. Not to mention the gorgeous views of the lake! We definitely look forward to coming back next summer."

"The hotel is very closed to railway, so it would be pretty loud when trains passing by in the late night. The window AC works but also pretty loud, we had to turn it off to get sleep. Others were good."
