“From the moment you see this cute home - you’ll know you are on vacation. Such a warm welcome after a long drive. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious for 6 people. We had everything we needed to relax, prep meals and have fun. It was just as the pictures showed - nicely decorated and plenty of room. The location was ideal - only about 10 minutes from shopping and essentials and about 40 minutes from major attractions - which is why we choose this house. No hustle & bustle, but……

The Fishing Cottage served as the perfect backdrop for our gathering, bringing us together after journeys from as far as London and Japan, as well as those who drove up locally. The genuine warmth of your hospitality truly made the difference, and it seemed like everyone had an absolute blast. Anticipation is already building for our next reunion – we're eagerly looking forward to it!”

“Beautifully kept property which entertained all six of us and fit our needs very well. More than enough space for all 3 generations to use. Much of the house is old and subsequently there are quirks, however, everything was clean, in great shape, and intentionally decorated to feel very modern, cozy, and inviting. The kitchen was full of utensils and supplies and we had no issues cooking many meals. We really enjoyed having access to the pier, beach and boats. The host provided many local spots……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our family retreat to the North River Farmhouse.over the Labor day holiday! The farmhouse has been thoughtfully appointed with families in mind: from the comfortable beds and beautifully decorated gathering spaces to the ample 3 acre grounds with water views all around, this is now our family’s favorite Chesapeake Bay hideaway. The water front private pool, pier, yard games, fire pit, along with indoor games, books and a fully stocked kitchen exceeded all our expectations.……
