Our family chose this location to be within close proximity of the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, which was just about a 20 minute drive into the center of town. The home was beautiful and very, very clean. It was very well stocked with everything that one could possibly need . Our teenage kids especially loved having the entire upstairs floor to themselves and enjoyed watching all of the wildlife every morning from the kitchen table and the back deck. Even though this home sits on Route 28, you can not hear any noise from the cars or trucks that pass by, as home sits far back on the property. Marc (the owner ) stopped by to introduce himself and we were also welcomed with a nice surprise treat of chocolates upon arrival. We appreciated how clean & well kept this home was, as well as very spacious. We took advantage of using the bar-b-q grill one evening for dinner and enjoyed dinner out on the back deck and also used the large property to play whiffle ball with the kids.
Would certainly recommend to anyone that needs a break from every day life, as well as to families who wish to visit Cooperstown, or the ball parks along the way. We would like to return again to this home the next time we visit the area.
