I booked this through VRBO for a stay from July 27 to August 2, and unfortunately, it was a nightmare. The fridge barely kept food cold, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work until I messaged the host. But the real issue started midweek when yellow water began leaking from the master bathroom light fixture—yes, from the ceiling light. I discovered water damage spreading to multiple rooms, including the kitchen and guest bedroom.I tried contacting the front desk—no one was there. I had to call multiple numbers before someone answered, and even then, they had no idea what to do. The host responded with "she will contact the responsible party"; Brian called me around 9 pm, and maintenance didn’t arrive until 10:30 PM. He said he would follow up the next day, but no one ever did. I have had to chase down updates myself.Despite clear signs of water damage and potential mold exposure, I was never offered a new unit or any real support. I ended up throwing away food, dealing with loud industrial fans and a dehumidifier, and cutting my vacation short. VRBO and the host keep blaming each other, and I’ve yet to receive any resolution.This experience was not only disappointing—it felt unsafe. I would not recommend this property or host to anyone. There has been a lot of miscommunication, as shown in the pictures. It's been a week and there is still no resolution. There are way more pictures than the ones allowed below.
