Perfect for a girls getaway

2024 Orange Beach Vacation

The overall stay was amazing!! We had an almost perfect week.. the only small problem was a coffee maker that did not work properly, but when we talked with maintenance, when they cams by to change the air filter on the air unit, we told them that the coffee maker didn’t work properly, they replaced it the next . Which was very satisfactory. Since that was a Sunday.

Gorgeous views

You can’t beat the views here! Every bedroom plus living room has views of the beach. We only gave it a 3 star due to wear and tear on the unit itself. At check in we smelled an odor and found that the garbage disposal under the sink was leaking and had been for some time based on the bucket under the sink with nasty water and the kitchen towel that was also under there to soak up the water was mildewed. There was also standing water on the cabinet floor. I find it hard to believe that the cleaning crew did not notice this and the bucket under there was not one a renter would normally have with them. We called it in and it was taken care of within the next hour. Very attentive to that. A few other repairs like light covers in bath rooms missing, hole in the wall behind front door, sofa worn, and no baking pans and nor serving dishes also factored in. However, outdoor furniture was excellent but only 4 chairs and 2 chaise lounges. Ample dining room inside with 6 chairs. Windward point is an excellent complex too. With a little TLC this would get a 5 star rating.

Review

Back porch rail creates a serious noise int he wind. Vubration. Kept us up. Places needs renovations while back porch is a safety issue tripping on missing tile trying not to fall into railings.
