“Kind of clean but very outdated”

“Nice breakfast”

“The outside of the hotel and lobby were decently nice. However, my room was atrocious. The top lock had been ripped off, the door to the adjoining room didn’t lock and they had pushed a desk against it. Shower was covered in scum, dust and grime on doors and floor. Stuff on the floor, stained sheets. I told the staff I couldn’t not stay here for the duration. They did offer another room or to make sure that no one stayed in the adjoining room….. but at that point, as a single woman, traveling……

“It’s an older place, anyone who is expecting a 5star room needs to lower their expectations, a lot! Especially for the price! I’ve stayed here twice now. Staff has always been amazing! Minor issues or inconveniences, but again….its an older place and the price is decent! I’ll be back in town next weekend, and of all of the places I’ve stayed on my trip to TX, Days is the best, so I’ll be staying here again! ”

“I wanted to stay the night to break up a long drive, and we got in late. I was given the wrong room layout from what I reserved (1 bed instead of 2), and when they realized their mistake, then called me back to the main lobby and gave me another room that was already occupied. The building is in disrepair, with broken exterior doors that do not shut, broken interior glass, broken safety room locks, and evidence of severe water damage and white mold. The property did not refund my reservation……
