“Convenience location, but you need to check in at another hotel across the street. Got a big and nice kitchen. Bad thing is the washer didn't work.”

“Recently stayed here with my husband, infant son and my parents. We opted to stay in this apartment over a hotel so we could all be together in the one space. The location is amazing, views from the apartment are beautiful and the balcony to sit and have tea/coffee on a nice day was a great. The space was clean, but very basic and a lot of street noise off the front bedroom. I would recommend it to friends / couples traveling who are just looking for a place to sleep. For us as a family while……

Easy bus travel—5 min walk to the pub or flag the bus on the road; easy travel to Galway and An Spidéal (look up galwaybayfishing.com for a fantastic day out, finishing with a meal of the fish you caught in a local restaurant …#bestdayever!!). 1.5 hrs to Bunratty Castle too!!”

“Can't recommend enough. Beautiful location on Lough Corrib. We had a family reunion and the house had everything we needed for big dinners on the shores of the lough or in inclimate weather, eating indoors. Oughterard is very easy to get to from Galway on a new road that makes the journey quick. (about 30 mins) The town itself is lovely with nice food options for eating out. The interior of the house is very comfy. Especially the beds. The furniture is a bit dated but did not present any……

“Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat.”

“Àine and her family were amazing and so welcoming! She was quick to help us out with tips about the town, and where to get some much needed take-away after a long day of travel. The room was cozy and private, and the bath was restful. She also made us a delicious packed breakfast that we took with us and ate as a picnic on the cliffs of Moher. Lovely stay, will definitely be back!”

“Die Wohnung war absolut sauber. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern sehr gut. In der Wohnung war alles so wie in der Beschreibung aufgeführt. Es fehlte nichts. Die Lage ist zentral, aber trotzdem wohnt man ruhig. Ein Supermarkt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. In der Innenstadt ist man zu Fuß in ca 10 Minuten. Zum Meer ca 20 Minuten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kleiner Hinweis zum Parkplatz. Die Einfahrt ist sehr eng. Wir waren mit unserem Hyundai Kona dort.”
