"We stayed in the Lower Suite, a spacious, comfortable, clean, well-appointed space with a full kitchen, soaking tub with jets, separate shower, and a very comfy king bed within walking distance of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Host Steve was friendly and knowledgeable and helped us with finding local spots to hike and fish. Would definitely recommend!"

"They no longer serve breakfast, but the hospitality was great, bed was very comfortable, and nice outdoor seating in a garden area where we were visited by deer. It is in easy walking distance of downtown with excellent restaurants and the Shakespeare Festival theaters."

"This is a nicely restored vintage motel. The rooms are styled midcentury but with modern appliances and fixtures. They are also clean. I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique travel experience other than the big chain hotels and motels. The location is a little under 1 mile from the Oregon Shakespearian Festival so walkable for some."

"Great price. Location is good for proximity to SOU. Staff is friendly. But the breakfast has gone downhill. I've stayed here 3 times, and each time, the selection and quality have gotten worse. I may not stay here next time."

"This was such a cute retro hotel. Perfect for a one night stop. It had the best pizza place right next door and a grocery store within walking distance. We had our dog and they had a perfect little dog area too right outside of the animal friendly room. "

I had a great stay: texts from motel staff before and after check in, easy check in, friendly staff, clean room, nice bed with actual comforter, furniture and room didn’t feel sterile. Don’t let the exterior fool you, the rooms are nice. Highly recommend!"

"Great location next to the brewery! Enjoyed a beautiful room with a view of the mountains. Bed was comfortable, felt very safe, staff was friendly, and loved that they had real 1/2 and 1/2 for the coffee! Parking easy, lots of space in room, and loved Ashland. The ONLY negative was that the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. But still 5 stars. Would come again for sure."
