Porches and views to enjoy!

Definitely an oasis of calm! Loved our stay. We are missing the peacefulness already. Beautiful property with amazing views.

Comfortable House w/ great Porches

We loved the layout of the house and in especially the screened in porches. It rained for most of the weekend and so having the opportunity to be outside and view the boat docks from the screened porch was great! The dogs loved it too!

Great House & Location

Love the house & the location at River Dunes...we have stayed here several times over the past few years. My husband and our 2 dogs had a great trip enjoying the house and grounds at River Dunes. Our house was clean upon arrival and check-in was easy. I love sitting on the screen porch, reading, and looking at the boats at the marina. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen with the exception of a sharp paring knife (there was a large sharp knife) and a few extra dishtowels would have been helpful since we like to cook. I was able to find and extra one upstairs with the stored towels. A few items that would make the rental even better would be a vacuum and a better floor broom for those who like to keep things tidy during their stay. As always, a wonderful rental and place to unwind.

Great except for the cockroaches

So many cockroaches, running across the floor diving under the sofa, walking across bedroom dresser In the morning, skirting across the bathroom floor while sitting on throne. Worst was falling out of the stove exhaust hood into boiling pasta water, that sent everyone over the edge. I sent an email to then property management group, got an apology saying that someone one the team would get back to me, never did. The rental was GREAT except for this issue.

Short relief from our Covid house arrest

To be clear, we did not and do not have the virus; just had to get out of the house for a few days. The trip is just what we needed. Great sunsets too.

Needs improvement

Absolutely gorgeous house and location! The refrigerator is broken and the ice maker does not work. I met a gentleman and his wife at the pool who had rented this property about a month ago, and they said the refrigerator did not work when they rented. The linens had not been properly washed and the pots and pans had been put away without cleaning. Andy(the property manager) was very helpful and always available to help with all the issues we had. He is excellent. The next to last day of our stay, there was a leak from the master shower and a significant water drip in the kitchen ceiling began. We we not able to use this shower because of fear of extensive damage. We love River Dunes and would rent this home again if the above mentioned issues were addressed.
