“The apartment we stayed in was amazing - Lole and Tere were very accommodating. The food was fantastic, especially the shrimp and the steak. The pick up from the bar on the camino worked perfectly and the drop off was equally easy. The place is beautiful and the staff work really hard. It was a perfect place to stay while walking the camino.”

“Just out of town but they do a free shuttle bus into the town. A cab is €10. We stayed in their apartments (opposite the main hotel) which gave you a small lounge, conservatory and then the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It smelt a bit musty but we were there a few days and so it soon cleared. There was also a car parking space under the apartment. We never ate there but used the sun terrace and pool and had a night cap in the bar.”

“Our best stay on the Camino. A very warm and welcoming hotel. Beautifully appointed and very clean room and bathroom and good quality towels and linen. Lovely dinner and amazing breakfast. Highly recommend staying here.”

“A little bit off the beaten path, but close enough to El Camino to make for a wonderful stop along the way. Dinner was outstanding with so many varieties to choose from and the staff was super helpful. Clean rooms and a comfortable bed made it a perfect stop during our journey.”

“This hotel was, architecturally, very pleasing. Our room was bright and spacious with views over the countryside. We chose to have dinner there but we were the only guests doing so and although the food was fine it was reheated rather than freshly cooked.”

“This property is a hidden gem, the hotel is amazing, the staff too. Nothing is too much trouble. The gardens and hotel common rooms are beautiful and the hotel is in such a peaceful location, surrounded by lush green woods and hills. It’s idyllic!! One of my favourite all time hotels!”
