The cabin is conveniently located on Pelican Lake in Orr, MN, right next to the boat landing. An abundance of ATV trails are only minutes away, and during winter months, snowmobile trails run directly behind the cabin. Pelican Lake is a great recreational lake that offers fishing, boating, with amazing views of the sunset, and if you are lucky, a brilliant display of Northern Lights!

We apricated this place was pet friendly and situated on a lake. It was in a great location, but a few things to note that left us a little frustrated; 1.) hot tub- listed on the description when we booked, but we were told it was broken a few days before our stay. We now notice it was taken off the listing entirely. We get things happen, but it was the main reason we decided on this place over others when we booked. There was no deduction in the price when a main feature was taken away from us. 2.) external cameras: located off the back entrance where the grill and hot tub were made if feel not very private. I do not see any mention of cameras on the description on the booking page and were only told about it a couple days before when the host sent us the pdf info pamphlet to the property. 3.) the pamphlet says to let the host know if propane runs out. Not sure what we are supposed to do when we are in the middle of cooking dinner, and this happens. Our propane was out. Another feature we couldn't use that was in the listing. It takes two seconds to lift up a propane tank and feel if it is empty. It was the only day we planned to grill so we did not say anything as it was already late. Why not check this before you welcome in new guests? Why not just have a full backup incase this happens if this is one of your selling points? It was a cute place in a great location, but those things we felt needed to be mentioned.

Fishing trip

Great location for those looking to fish Pelican Lake. Super convenient with a grocery store, gas station, and the main boat launch all within a block of each other.

Snowmobile weekend with friends

Great location for us. Trails were close by and easy to get to. Gas station was also very close and convenient. Hot tub was great to soak in after the days ride. Cabin layout worked very well for our group.

Family and friends fishing get away!

Nice property and location, we had 3 boats we brought along and the dock space worked well. Accommodations were very nice as well as location for bait shop and other misc. shopping. We had a great trip with no issues with the property! Great views from the deck!!!

Conformable place for a group

This was a great place for our group of 10 (5 adults, 5 kids) to stay for a long weekend. Being early spring we didn't use the outdoor space much, but the location on the lake is very nice. It's also nice to be within walking distance of most shops (grocery, gas, donuts!) The deck and hot tub were great. We had plenty of space to relax and the kitchen was stocked with the essential pots and pans for our needs. Super clean space, comfortable beds, communicative hosts. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Cute place right off of the lake! Definitely ideal if you plan to do fishing in the area. Stayed for a weekend getaway and it was quiet minus the boat landing, the occasional train going by and general traffic. Overall inside was very cute and made it feel like a farmhouse cabin. Definitely would stay here again but this time I’m bringing more friends!

Nice place right next to the Lake

Stayed here for work for a week, had two nice bathrooms and showers and plenty of beds, I highly recommend it.

Great time with family!

The cabin was perfect for our family weekend. We went the weekend of the 4th and it was perfect spot to be. We could go out on the lake to fish and swim, along with some beautiful lake views. Then take part in the 3rd and 4th of July activities. The owners were great to work with and very responsive for any questions or concerns. And very transparent. The only concern we had was the internet wasn't working(shouldn't need it, ha!) but they were diligent to try to fix it but it was out of their hands. A very minimal concern though! The location I was initially not fond of being right in town, just because I am used to a off grid cabin. But I had to admit it was super convenient to be in town when we needed items. The cabin itself was perfect, slept all of us comfortably and had room for more. The AC works great! It had plenty of amenities, TV's, grill, cooking gear etc. Everything was functional, nothing wonky with running the showers or other items. We would definitely go back.

Our party of 8, with a mix of adults and older teens (ages 16–20), stayed here for a long weekend of ATV riding. Overall, the cabin worked well for our group.The location is convenient for accessing the ATV trails, though you'll need to ride a short distance on the County Road before connecting to the trail system. The cabin sits right on the lake with a large yard for yard games and a campfire and is just down the road from the public swimming beach, which was a nice bonus. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a full day of riding, and the sunsets over the lake were beautiful. Parking for two larger trucks with trailers was manageable, although one of us used the neighboring public boat landing for additional parking.Overall, the cabin met our needs and was a good value for our group. The only downsides were that the beds weren't the most comfortable—I recommend bringing your own pillows and perhaps an extra blanket if you prefer a cozier night's sleep—and the frequent train passes throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper, the train noise may make it difficult to get a good night's rest.

Property was clean right in town next to the boat launch. The only downfall is there’s no fish cleaning shack if you’re going fishing. Not a big deal just bring big cutting boards.
