「Great view of the lake plus staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Only drawback eas the shower floor and seat were very slippery. This was reported to the staff upon checkout so it’s probably been taken care of now. The Eatery Pub had great food. It averaged 105 the 5 days we were there so the fishing was BAAAD! even with a pair of experienced guides with electronics. We are definitely coming back when it’s cooler!」

「I stayed at the cottage while attending the Walnut Valley Flatpicking Champoinship in Winfield. It was the perfect retreat for me. The bed was comfortable, I loved the air conditioning and the quiet. Dexter is a beautiful town in a beautiful part of Kansas. The cottage had everything I needed. 」

「 We rented the cottage due to an issue with the venue for my wedding. The host was beyond accommodating and let us in early to prepare for the reception. We all enjoyed the beautiful lake views and the cottage is adorable. The kids enjoyed playing in the upstairs room. We will be back!!」

「Location was great, very pleasant walking around the neighborhood and the businesses in the Rose District. Owner was very responsive to the few questions we had. We were well supplied with household necessities. Just a suggestion, for senior citizens like us, a grab bar located to provide support while stepping in to tub for shower would be a bonus. An overall great place to stay during vacation!」
