“We stayed in the Garden Cottage for a week and cannot recommend it for longer stays. While the property manager responded to our texts and generally sent maintenance within 24 hours, the property suffers from poor upkeep and temporary fixes. Our issues started at check-in when our entry code failed, and no one answered the phone, forcing us to communicate solely via text. Upon entry, the unit smelled strongly of marijuana, the bedroom closet door was broken, and a ceiling fan blade was hanging……

“The location was absolutely perfect!! My 3 year old loved the little play scape on the beach. This mom was able to relax on the water and she played the whole time. Place was pretty sound proof and clean. All amenities were provided which made it pretty nice to cook our meals in. Check in process was kind of weird. I called ahead and let them know I’d be after 3 due to work and there was no direction on how to check in, but the owner picked up the phone right away and unlocked it for me. Will……

“I loved this place with one important caveat. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery. Socks and dry floor? Bare feet and wet floor? You need to be careful, especially if you're older. I almost did the splits going to use the restroom. The shower is small and you can't keep the curtain in, so the floor will get a bit wet. For most floors this really isn't a big deal, but it's basically like ice. I only point this out because I do not want someone to actually get hurt without at least a bit of a……

“The only thing good was this was right on the beach. The condition of the rental was very poor. The windows all had sheer curtains so privacy was an issue. Windows didn’t lock. It was very outdated and run down. It took about 15-20 min to get the water in the shower warm enough to get in. I personally would not stay again”

“The cottage was clean and well taken care of. We were in the area for a memorial service so did not spend much time there. If we had been there another night would have surely enjoyed the bon fire pit nd lounging outside. Our very only minor complaint would be that we do not have streaming services so navigating the TV late at night was a struggle without instructions. No central heating so the bedroom was cold but plenty of bedding to snuggle into. The sunrise was spectacular. We would……

“This place is so fun and cute and the host really has thought of everything. We didn't have to bring a lot, most things were supplied and more. Host is very communicative and the house has been updated beautifully and is very clean. We had great weather and a very pleasant stay. We even walked into town and back from the property.”
