DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
The pictures on the listing are lies. There is a huge FOR LEASE sign on the front of the house that blocks everything and makes you feel like a squatter.
The houses are so close together that you can barely get a car back tot he parking area.
The deadbolt on the the front door is broken so its just a turn lock protecting you from, what I can only assume, is one of the worst/high crime areas in Oshawa.
When i walked the smell was stale and musty. The house is dark and dank and looks like an abandoned frat house. There was visible dirt on the floor like someone hadn't swept in months. There is no guide for guests, so indication was the wifi password was or what the television login is, or how to manage anything. There was hair in the kitchen sink. The bedding on the beds look worn and dirty. I felt like if i crawled into that bed I'd be sharing that bed with other microscopic things.
This fear and feeling was confirmed when I went down to the kitchen and there Cockroaches on the wall on the kitchen. I immediately called the host, no answer, I texted, no answer, and then I got a flimsy explanation that someone must have left the door open and it was a fly. I PROMISE you this was not a fly, it was a cockroach and there was more than one.
VRBO wouldn't help me with my refund, the host stopped responding when I asked for a refund, and I have to spend $500 to get hotel rooms in the area.
ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ON VRBO
