「This house had plenty of room for our families, with two full bathrooms, comfortable beds, and decor made it easy to settle in. The kitchen was well equipped, though we ended up enjoying several of the restaurants in the area instead of cooking. The large fenced-in backyard was perfect for our sister's dog, and the two outdoor gathering areas gave us great places to relax together. The location was convenient to everything in the Crosby-Ironton area, and the mountain biker in our group loved...

「We rented this cabin for a week, because my family needed a quiet place to stay during and after the death and funeral of my father. The problems were: 1. No instructions were given beforehand on how to access the cabin, so I had to call Vrbo, who had to call the owner, who forgot I was checking in that day. 2. There was only a small window air conditioner unit in one bedroom, but the rest of the house was sitting at 84 degrees! Placed another call to Vrbo, who called the owner of the...

「The cabin was very clean and cute and had a lot of games to play when indoors. Items that could be improved: some outdoor games; there was not a drainer stopper in the kitchen sink (and the sink was very small); the main bedroom shower floor was little rocks and some were a little pokey on the feet; flannel sheets on the bed in July is an odd choice; the outdoor grill was not usable - the grates on it were not clean and were in bad shape, plus it appears only two of the burners were working.」

「The entire experience was fabulous. We wanted someplace to just be away from our normal routine. It was wonderful to watch all the kids on the lake, the friendly boaters going by. Watching the Loons and a family of ducks. The cabin was very clean and easy to navigate. It was right on the lake. Couldn't get any closer unless you were in it. My husband sat on the deck the entire time and loved it. I drove to Miners Mountain and walked the trails, it was beautiful and only about 17 minutes away....

「If I could give this location a 4.5 I would. I generally reserve 5's for luxury or "above and beyond" locations. This location is exactly what it appears to be, a "cozy" motel outside of town that appears to be being rehabbed. It was in reasonably good, clean condition and well appointed. I say reasonably, because there were definite signs of age, the bathroom door didn't pull tightly closed, and there were some cobwebs here and there, but nothing you might not expect from an older, countryside...

「This property was a wonderful place for a peaceful, quiet and relaxing getaway! The cabin had all of the necessities and then some! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The living spaces and bedrooms were comfortable and beautifully furnished. We would have liked to have spent more time in the game room but were too busy enjoying the outdoor spaces! Loved the sandy beach, boating, fishing and being able to see the loons and eagle every day!」
